Relaxing stay in Whangārei

An easy 5 minute walk uphill from the bus stop. Convenient to food, sights, and shopping but just outside of the central district. A quiet, tranquil spot to rest after a day of activities. A great sized room with a large lounge and kitchenette across the hall and a sunny terrace overlooking the river.

A most lovely place to stay.

The place exceeded my expectations: spacious room, comfortable bed, adjustable bed lights as well as the usual ceiling lights, bathroom spacious, everything very neat& tidy and of better quality than usual accommodation. A very well-stocked kitchen nearby, with dining and lounge furniture also.

As I have a walking disability, the steepness of the outside of the property was uncomfortable and a bit difficult. The street was very steep also which meant that I really had to drive rather than walk which was a pity as the Town Basin etc is very close by.

Travelled for work. Comfortable stay located centrally and near amenities and where I needed to be. Cosy room and nice facilities.

Very comfortable and a beautiful room and location.

The room and view were beautiful and very comfortable. Very well maintained and great facilities also handy to town and walking "the loop" of the Whangarei town basin. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Really nothing negative apart from the noise from the road during the night which seemed to be an enjoyed circuit for "racers" (I forgot my ear plugs but this would have solved this issue).

The shower was really good and hot. The bed was very comfortable. Plenty of spare pillows, blankets. The shared kitchen was very nice and well equipped. The owner was very pleasant and helpful.

Bit close to busy roads on a Friday night. I didn't like the smart TV in the bedroom. Too smart for me!
