Well worth the money! Better (by far) than many other accomodation venues

Clean, modern, tidy, great bed & pillows, great shower, great aircon, easy check-in & out, good close parking, secure property close to the hospital (which was our reason for staying) & Jan was just an absolute positive pleasure!

Excellent, comfortable accommodation, just what we needed after a long day of travelling.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite and it was excellent - spacious and exceptionally clean. Bed was comfortable and was good to have a wee pool for the kids who didn’t seem to mind it being cold!

The units are a quite dated, but with the cleanliness and the price it wasn’t an issue at all.

Great for 2.

The room was spacious, and seemed bigger than the pictures. The TV seemed quite small and low down for the room. The air conditioner was excellent along with the pool on hot day & after a long trip. Parking was right outside the room. The kitchen was small but for 2 ppl was more than acceptable.

There was some staining on the floor in and near the toilet, looks like dampness from an overflowing shower. Didnt feel wet but looked it. I forgot to mention one of the elements on the stove wasnt working and may need replacing as well.

Excellent location in Whangarei

Rooms were bright and pleasant. The staff was kind and helpful. We needed a place to stay unexpectedly due to an injury and they accommodated our decreased mobility with grace.

Beds are lower and the heating system was tricky, but these are minor points.

Liked where it was. Staff were helpful and friendly

That we had asked for our unit to be cleaned and because the door to the bedroom was shut they left a notice saying the did rest of unit ie kitchen/bathroom lounge etc but did not go into the room There were five towels in the bottom of the shower so they left 2 for the five of us for the next day had to check with manager to get extras. No tea towel and no dish cloth either when we checked in.

It was nice to have a self contained space, plenty of room.

Could have done with aircon, was a little cold. Maybe fence the area at the back didn’t affect our stay but could be a bit of a concern for small children. Great for family groups.

Amazing stay. Clean, warm and safe space for accommodation. Staff were very welcoming.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cheviot, comfortable beds accomodated for all our travellers and cleaniless of the room was emaculate. A bonus for us that we loved was having an accessible parking right next to our room which made unpacking and packing a breeze and felt our vehicle was in a safe and secluded space.

Nothing not to like, everything exceeded our expectations.

I loved how comfy the rooms were and loved that at last minute we were able to add extra people for a god price. And it was well worth the money. Really enjoyed our night here.

Everything was fine. The only thing was the spa was broken. Which was the only downer for me. But the cost for an extra person made it much better. Lovely tidy roomy area especially for us. Thankyous very much

Very welcoming

The room was spacious and well set out. Jan the receptionist was lovely and very welcoming.

The main road is closed therefore it's noisy, but we live rural so we aren't used to noise. A little dated, but overall comfortable.

Comfy, safe and value for money. We'll worth a look if you need a place to stay near the hospital.

I booked this room for my mum as she wanted to stay close to the hospital while my father was there. Mum said the room was lovely and clean, she loved the shower pressure and the staff made check in and out so easy for her. I really appreciated that she felt safe and comfortable.

Mum said that the bed was too hard for her. Bare in mind she's old and likes super comfy soft beds. This is not a criticism, most hotel beds are quite firm, she still enjoyed her stay.
