This was a cheaper option which was very comfortable and quiet .

A lovely quiet neighbourhood with lots of old Villas . Close to central Township and facilities.

Please supply a forth pillow . The bed needs two each side . The positioning of the vanity is a little disconcerting.

Pleasant Enough Would Stay Again For Budget Minded

Motel was at the end of a cul-de-sac so was quiet. On my stay my neighbours were quiet too. Bed was comfortable enough (bed comfort is subjective) Stayed during the end of September so was raining but wasn't cold. Room had a heat pump which I didnt have to use. Room didn't have any strong smells or cleaning fragrances which I appreciate as I am sensitive to strong smells.

Really trying to think of something critical to say - TV was on the same wall as the bed so couldn't watch anything in bed. Using hot water was noisy, I think there might be water heaters in each room?

Sun - she was amazing and catered all my needs. Was super! I am aware check in was 2pm but made it to Whāngarei earlier, she was amazing and lovely. My highlight was being able to use the washing machine and dryer for free, other places you had to pay but I think this is the only accommodation that has this great option. Thank you so much to sun and Aaron court motel. Was a great place to stay and will stay there again if I got up to Whāngarei again.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY

Apon making booking i let the owner know my whanau and i were traveling from Wellington to Whangarei 13hr trip. Leaving home at 5pm i gave expected time of arrival 2-3am she was fine with that and happy to leave key under mat. Made payment and Booking confirmed over phone. Ka pai. I then ring the motel at 7.30pm because the office closes at 8pm, to double check the key will be under the mat when we arrive. She then tells me my booking was for the day AFTER our arrival😒 got all that sorted after alot of muck around. No fault of ours! Due to road work delays out of Auckland we get to the motel around 4am. Key was under mat. After unloading and finaly going to sleep around 5am WE GET WOKEN UP AROUND 8AM T0 HAMMERING, DRILLS, SAWS A WHOLE ASS REBUILD going on 10 feet from our room🙃 not the 1st day of reno either because i asked a worker. I then address this matter at the motel office and she tells me not my fault its the neighbour!!! Thats all fine and dandy people doing their house up BUT SHE COULD HAVE GIVEN US A HEADS UP BEFORE TAKING OUR $420 for 1night stay!! That we were going to be woken up that time of the morning after traveling the north island. I would have booked my self and my whanau in some where else! Also go out durring the day and get back only to relise THE OWNER had been through our room!!! Only good thing about this place was location. Close to everything, how ever.... DO NOT GO HERE! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Shower was awful - no mixer and with taps was difficult to get right temperature, when finally did was poor pressure. Very noisy shower and toilet can hear all the neighbours ones also. no bed side lights/small lights
