Great location and comfortable

Great location next to the marina and easy access. Superb breakfast. Very comfortable beds and roomy bedroom. Free parking. Large bathroom.

Overall a bit shabby. Dirty carpets and torn wallpaper. Had a spa bath but it didn't work.

The bins in the rooms were too small. People were using the bins by the entry doors for their rubbish , I’m not sure how often they got emptied but it didn’t take long to build up again.

A clean place to sleep

Room was clean and close to the car park

We asked if we could have dinner and were told that we would have to wait for over an hour to be seated in restaurant. So we went else where for dinner. We had the buffet breakfast. The dining restaurant floor is disgusting - it has food and drink stains all over it and worn out. Probably needs to be hard easy to clean or mop floor near the food serving areas. The hot food needs labels / signs above them so you’re not opening lids to food that you don’t want eat. They had Christmas decorations up which was ok. There are a lot of junk old fashioned ornaments scattered throughout the restaurant that need to go.

Ideal location for a 1 night stay

Property was is a poor state and is needing Maintenance . Toilet fans very loud . You can hear the neighbouring rooms fan as well . Bad road noise windows need to be double glassed. Floor tiles were cracked and grout missing . Corridors carpets were Water damaged and stained .

Great bed, good variety of pillows, plenty of space for our gear.

We stayed in a room at the rear which meant no traffic noise. The room was refurbished nicely.

One bedside light didn’t work and the multi way light switches didn’t allow a gentle on the eyes setting for going to bed. The toilet seat wouldn’t stay up, an annoyance if you’re a man. The corridors are overdue for new wallpaper and carpet.

Nice location for the night

Nice location on the waterfront, the room with the balcony is ideal if you want to wake up to a view of the town basin with breakfast. You get some decent privacy in those rooms and it’s soundproof. Huge car park and easy check in.

Facilities are worn down a bit. Pool needs a good clean and the spa is usually not working or being cleaned. No cooking facilities for that price too.

Room was nicely presented. Black out blinds were excellent. Bed was just the right amount of firm. Breakfast was good. Great amount of choices. Overall we were happy with our stay and would look at staying again on another visit.

Toilet in the room was fairly dated, and the seat was fairly loose. Shower tray feels like it was delaminating. room 103.. probably need to get it checked out. Air Duct in bathroom was quite noisy.. even louder when the fan was on. Turned heat pump on briefly, but it gave the room a musky smell when running.

Comfortable rooms

Rooms are clean and a bit more modern than the rest of the hotel. Good parking. Close to town - though not walkable in the rain. Nice vibe, the bar was open late, lots of working travellers around.

Whole place is pretty dated though rooms are comfortable. I liked having control of the air con and windows you could open. Pool area could do with an upgrade. Breakfast was a bonus but pretty average food - like being on a plane.

Nice room...

The room was very nice with two super comfortable queen size beds. Heat pump very effective. Good water pressure in shower, bathroom clean. Heated pool and spa were great. All staff were professional and friendly.

The facility is very tired. Our room was one of the renovated ones, but the hallway was run down and a bit stale. The common areas, such as the restaurant buffet area, could do with an upgrade, and while I appreciate that it is a big facility it could do with some attention to the outdoor areas which had several overgrown plants and many weeds in the stone areas. The pool and pool area would also benefit from a thorough cleaning. Also, the guest laundry was not somewhere I wanted to leave my clothes.
