Rather disappointed with room for the price but excellent location and plenty of parking.

Location excellent and staff friendly. Bet comfortable.

Very dated, latches on windows loose, shower leaked, bathroom very old and milk frozen in fridge. Light on upstairs balcony kept going on and off all night. Mould around windows with condensation.

The room was clean and tidy, with all the amenities required during our stay.

A wee bit of feedback - the beds weren't very comfortable. The queen bed sunk in the middle so with 2 on the bed you instantly rolled to the middle. The single bed was extremely hard.

Location was good. Besides odor in room facility was fine.

There was a terrible cooking odor in the room. It smelt like someone had been frying fish. The odor was very strong in the room.

Awesome

The Staff were always available, allowing us to have visitors. Thank you so much. I had not seen my grandchildren in so long and they visited us during our stay. I even used the facilities pool and spa this was my 4th stay here

We were very impressed with the Motel and would stay again when in Hamilton and recommend it.

Unit was great - very well equipped - they seem to have thought of everything a guest may need, the bed was very comfortable. The one member of staff we had contact with was extremely helpful.

The only thing lacking were hooks on the back of the bathroom door.

From AKLD to Whangarei in a Day

Location central to Whangarei Town and nearby to visit family & explore about the main centre Opportunity to relax in the spa & nice to have a refreshing cool dip in pool soon as we arrived after a long drive up! Walk in shower access made trip easy for disabled family guest .. staff were helpful and friendly upon arrival and kindly offered to assist with the TV set up for my parents.

One bed was rather low/too bouncy When departing the motel and returning we found the room was serviced though we placed a do not disturb sign, however it would have been appreciated that we were informed prior to the room service taking place so we could expect to know what time it would happen The room upon arrival didn't seem well vacuumed and there were some remaining marks..butter/food across the wall beside the bed perhaps from the previous guests

Good TV. Oven, toaster, hot water jug all good. room fairly clean.

I had a cold shower which wasn't good. The shower didn't work properly. We were given an upstairs room even when the motel was 50% only full. We are 67 and 70 years old. and have to carry 7 bags up the stairs. we were offered a down stairs room but was too late as all our bags were already upstairs. Other people who were not staying at the motel were using the pool. Not good

Becky was awesome at accommodating our late check in. The bedroom was big enough for us and the location was a perfect access point to visit everywhere we wanted to go and close to places for food.

Bed was a bit too soft for me but that was just a preference not really a bad thing 🙂
