Best sleep ever

The beds were super comfy. Had the best sleep 😴 close to the hospital well, where I needed to be. Provided the best room for my mother with dementia & decided to stay another night👌 Also topped up our tea, coffee etc & fresh towels & sheets given. Everything needed was available. Definitely would go here again to be close to the hospital 🙏 Very nice young couple👍

Homely, comfortable, family friendly.

We are a family of 6, 2 adults and 4 young children. This motel catered to our needs completely. It can be quite hard for us to find one room for all of us. We got a 3 bedroom, 5 bed “house” for an exceptional price. We will definitely be booking here in the future knowing our needs will be met. The property is fenced and private, our children were able to play in the yard freely, the space inside was very spacious.

No aircon, thankfully it wasn’t too hot of a day. The fans in every room were definitely comfortable during our stay though.

I stayed here 5 years ago when my brother at Ehangarei Hospital. This stay was similar, my sister was transferred from Kaitaia Hospital. The Motel is a minute away from the Hospital which is convenient

The mattresses were too soft. Not a fan of a shower curtain. The shower floor was ever so slippery and there was no AC, highly recommended, the fan did nothing.

All in all a great result.

Clean room, good plumbing, comfortable bed. The wifi worked well. Adjoining noise from other units was muted due to concrete block construction of building.

Location was a little noisy due to nearby major intersection. Also for summer note there is no aircon.

Beds were fairly comfy. Close to most things in the city.

Spa and pool were closed but I was only alerted to this once payment was made. Room was really a 2 person room with a single bed squashed in it, not a lot of space. Only had towels for 2 people. Beds weren't made on day 2. Didn't receive more towels on day 2, even though we left the used ones in the shower. Room was quite run down and had mould on the ceiling in places. Wasn't soundproofed well (could hear neighbours peeing) and when the hospital helicopter flew over it sounded really loud.

The hostess was incredible, went out of her way to let my sister and myself in early at no extra cost after a hospital stay. we also stayed ther the night before surgery and when we turned up 2 days later, the lovely lady recognised us and said welcome back

Noise, it was next to a road that boy racers used. Also neighbour's in the motel were allowed to party past 1am in the morning and the walls were very thin. Also no microwave dishes to cook with and only one very large saucepan but there were 2 pot lids!
