Beautiful period property in the heart of Otterburn, lots to explore around the area. Owner is lovely and very friendly, room was lovey and clean with refreshments and toiletries to use. Bed was super comfy and we had the best nights sleep ever.
Nothing really to dislike, the venue was very quiet but it’s the time of the year the bar area opens in May, which was a shame as lots of people arrived asking if it were open

It wasn’t clean. The stairs were dirty the stair railings were supposed to be white but they were actually blackish. The floor was stained and there was a package lying on the floor from a former customer. The doors in the corridor were stained.
The sockets weren’t working properly.

The cooked breakfast was good, however the choice of cereal was poor and the lack of fruit let the whole thing down.
The room was cold, the window blind didn’t work. The toilet flush didn’t work properly. The battery in the coded lock needed replacing and the Wi-Fi was totally ineffectual. The man that ran the place totally on his own was extremely helpful and tried his best but he didn’t speak good English and was hard to understand. My overall impression was that it was very poor value for money, I wouldn’t recommend it.
