The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times. Wanting a quiet stay with short travelling times to the coast this was an ideal location. The swimming pool is one of the best private pools i have used. Would like to return again for a summer break.

Overall, very comfortable and relaxing break. All staff very friendly and helpful, particularly Sarah on reception. Good food both at breakfast and in attached Linden pub.

Excellent place to stay with exceptional staff however the building could do with an uplift
    6.8 / 10Average·Jun 2026
The staff were great and can only work with what is supplied by the owners/Macdonald group. Our dog friendly room had very stained carpets (room 17), and the bathroom nearly ripping out. mould around the bath and didnt look very clean as the tiles were stained and grout very discloured MacDonald Group need to evaluate rating or update accommodation The spa was clean and well kept but didnt use the pool as over cowded and no loungers to relax
