This is a very lovely luxurious hotel in a fantastic location. The room was beautiful and the hotel itself is gorgeous. We enjoyed a stunning meal on the evening and breakfast was of a very high standard.
My only con would be around the restaurant and where you have to sit if you have a dog. I think it's amazing that a hotel of such high standard and quality like this is dog friendly. But you do feel like you are just placed out of the way when dining and it can feel like you are forgotten about. The staff did the best they could but I do think because you are hidden round a corner out of the way it takes longer for them to serve you as they are focused on the main restaurant.

Breakfast was good with lots of choice. Good sized dining room. Staff on the whole were very attentive and friendly
Room was rather small. Bed far too big for room size. Not enough wardrobe space for hanging clothes. not enough drawers for clothes etc. Bath bad design with plug in centre. washbasin bad design with no plug so very water wasteful.
