Manor House Hotel Holy Island

The location and view from the hotel rooms were stunning! Breakfast was good with a very decent selection. Our evening meal was lovely as well. Staff were all amazing and very friendly too!

We received a very warm welcome. The view from our room was gorgeous as we looked out towards the castle. It was also was very comfortable and spacious with lots of cupboard and wardrobe space necessary for our 6 night stay! The window opened wide so we did not suffer from the heat. The breakfasts were all excellent, with good food at lunch and dinner also.

The room and bathroom were not as clean as I would have liked. The skirting boards and toilet especially. A proper toilet brush would have helped - not the strange, rubber one provided!

The location is excellent and it couldn't be better. Staying on Holy Island, when the daytime visitors have left for the day and before they arrive the next morning, is what made us book the Manor House and it didn't disappoint us. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which was included in the price.

Our room was very expensive for what it was, even with breakfast. It didn't look like the photos, as it was a bit old. It was more like staying over a pub. Also, when we arrived, we were initially told by the reception staff that we had to pay £12 for the car park, when we were told it was "free parking" when we booked. We were then told that the parking charge had just been introduced a week ago, so we didn't have to pay. If we had to pay for parking as well, we wouldn't stay there.
