The location , firm bed , shower , coffee machine & breakfast and serving staff all excellent
What a lovely place sadly let down by lack of staff to serve a drink at the bar or fully service guests needs .. for an expensive property of £200 plus per night we expected more - the manager was lovely but overwhelmed with lack of support

Fabulous location.
Breakfast was delicious.
Beds were comfortable.
Welcome dogs
Room overpriced.
It was uncomfortably small with no table top space or floor space. Two over large lamps on one bedside table bewteen two beds.
There was an unnecessary chair placed in the room which we had to place in the shower as you couldn’t move in the room without having to keep repositioning it..
Bins were dirty.
Rooms definitely needs a rethink/ redesign to maximise space and improve facilities/comfort.

"Great room which was en-suite. Breakfast was particularly good with lots of cooked to order options. Very close to the castle. We were able to easily park the motorbike in the small car park."
