​Fantastic stay! Our room and en-suite were clean and comfortable, and the shower was great. A special mention to the staff, who were so welcoming, polite, and eager to help with anything we needed. We ate both evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant and were really impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the standard of the food

The gravel driveway to the main entrance was very wet from recent rain, causing dirty footwear. Navigating the soft, damp gravel with suitcases or for those with reduced mobility could be quite difficult.

The location was amazing. Fantastic views, great access to bars and wonderful restaurants. Breakfast was filling, good quality food and great service.

Evening meal was good but not much option for vegetarians.

The staff were phenomenal and incredibly friendly. The room layout was perfect for travelling with three dogs.

Food was terrible, had to send back chips that weren't cooked and send back a salad that had really brown leaves. The mashed potato and chicken were both very dry and the mains came out within short minutes of the starter plates going back so felt, and tasted reheated rather than cooked. Gate not secure on the terrace, the dogs were able to just push it open. The additional dog charge was also a bit OTT at £25 per dog for one night.. So my three westies, staying for one night cost an extra £75. And the gate to the terrace wasnt even secured for them. Had the room and staff not been so good I'd have been fairly annoyed but it's been a nice weekend regardless
