Great setting in the middle of the vineyard.
Slightly smell in bathroom. I think it was airtreo in toilet.

The location is central to Stellenbosch, though having a car is essential. The suites themselves are beautifully furnished, spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything you might need, including complimentary wine, beer, soft drinks, and snacks. The room has a TV but no channels, so you’ll need to log in to your own streaming apps. The room could have been cleaned a bit better. There’s no view from the room, but the outdoor garden area is lovely. Complimentary wine tasting also included, the wine-tasting/breakfast outdoor restaurant setting is just beautiful. The restaurant is closed for half the week however you can order to your room a salad, cheese platter or something warm in advance.
The biggest drawback was the Wi-Fi, which was extremely unreliable and barely worked during our stay. Breakfast could also be improved, as the selection is quite limited, although tasty. The pool area is attractive, but it feels very enclosed, and because it’s positioned right by reception with staff desks facing the pool, it can feel as though you’re being watched.
While the staff are friendly, they don’t always seem to remember which guests are staying on the estate. Each morning at breakfast we were approached with “Can we help you,” and had to explain that we were there for breakfast, which became a bit awkward over time. All in all a great stay however having stayed at many, many different vineyard hotels in Stellenbosch, this was not the greatest value in comparison.
The pool area is too enclosed. It could also have a towel basket in case you forget yours in the room and for returning towels. Not very flexible in their service, especially reception and communication before arrival was slow and tedious.

We booked last minute so we had a two bed room suite for just the two of us. It was fabulous. The view from our villa was of lush planting with the mountains beyond. It was the ultimate relaxation. Everything in the minibar was included, a bottle of wine, beers, soft drinks and snacks.
We liked everything.

Staff we think realised that we were guests so presumed we wouldn’t leave a tip . Very casual and non plussed with us . Not the service we had in the restaurant the night before !
No room for even a comfortable chair . Floor in bathroom area very unpleasant
