Brilliant Host and location which was perfect for our family gathering.

The Manager is super friendly and so accommodating for all our needs. the location is amazing with a gorgeous view of the mountains, and a quiet serene setting but close enough to good restaurants.

Bathrooms are a bit dated and could do with some maintenance to fill in missing grouting and tidy up silicone and our shower door didn't close properly.

A Lovely Throwback to Old World Charm

Location was perfect as we were attending a wedding at the neighbouring farm. Surrounded by beautiful wine farms and scenary.

Need better directions to the place as Google Maps really took us down a long-winded gravel road to get to the actual establishment.

Piece of history!

Great place that put you back in times. You are taking place in a movie! House is just a piece of history and your room like your flat back home. Place around also beautiful with grape fields.

Be aware - food is not included and better to bring your own.

Exceptional

We spend five nights here and it felt like coming home. The warmth and care of Michel and all staff made the entire experience incredible. The property is beautiful with amazing views. Breakfast is great, as are the wines. Rooms are beautiful. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Excellent stay

The setting, rooms and country house were exceptional. Moreover the staff made us feel so at home and were very accommodating to our needs. We would highly recommend Lyngrove and will definately be back to visit soon.

The wines stole the show

Beautiful peaceful setting surrounded by vineyards and mountains. Fabulous selection of their own wines available, lovely breakfast, friendly staff and an idyllic spot outside on the patio to eat breakfast in the morning or enjoy a glass of wine as the sun sets.

Tennis court is in need of repair and the pool needs a little TLC

Fabulous

Lovely place, but with little room for improvements. Rooms are big and nice, equipped with everything. Antoinette is a really nice person and perfect host. The property is really nice, you can relax with perfect views around the pool. There’s an Honesty Bar, where you can get some drinks, especially the Lyngrove wines.

Getting in/out without an own car can be very difficult (outside office hours) because there are several gates to reach the property.
