Lovely traditional buildings. Easily accessible from Cape Town and Stellenbosch. Breakfast included.
Booked a deluxe room but found it to be very dark, a standard room with vineyard view may have been better. Although we were aware that it was self-catering, the vineyard reception and main building closes at 5pm, which leaves you to look after yourself.

A simple, clean and neat place to spend a night if you are going to a wedding nearby and/or on a budget.
The receptionist was very unwelcoming as I arrived just before my check-in time. I had no expectation of being let into my room earlier but before I could communicate this, she let me know in no uncertain terms that I would not be given an early check-in. She appeared visibly annoyed at my early arrival which was not planned but rather a consequence of less traffic that I expected. Unfortunately this tainted my stay as I was made to feel so unwelcome on arrival.
My room was fine for an overnight stay whilst attending a wedding, it did have a strange odour to it (think from the shower), the glass shelf in the shower was missing so all toiletries were left in a corner on the floor of the shower (this is not ideal for showering and isn't a difficult or costly thing to fix/replace). The bay windows are lovely but don't lock so you should definitely not leave valuables lying around in your room.
We were gifted a free bottle of wine on arrival from the Wine Farm but it was not labelled which myself and several of the other guests found quite disappointing and strange practice for a Wine Farm. No information on the wine varietal, age etc.

At first glance, the hotel looks absolutely charming and very beautiful.
The location is great and very close to many wonderful wineries around Stellenbosch. The property is cute, set in a lovely environment and offers beautiful views. The rooms are very spacious and come with large terraces, which we really enjoyed. The wines themselves are also nice.
The hotel feels a bit dated and would benefit from some updates in certain areas.
Unfortunately, the pool was not very clean during our stay.
There was only one manager on site who had to take care of everything — check-in, breakfast, wine tasting and room checks. While she was very kind, it felt overwhelming for one person and came across as somewhat unprofessional overall. We honestly felt a bit sorry for her having to manage so much alone.
The wine tasting experience was also rather disappointing compared to other wineries in the area.

Beautiful boutique winery in a fantastic location with a family atmosphere.
The farm's location is unique and beautifully situated. The winery has a very personal and family-run atmosphere, making you feel truly welcome as a guest. It's absolutely nothing like the large, touristy wineries in Stellenbosch, which are overrun with tourists. Here, you can still experience genuine warmth, atmosphere, and individuality.
Good and extensive selection of wines; the tasting is very personalized and caters to every taste.
We also stayed overnight. The rooms were clean, lovely, and quiet. While the furnishings were a bit dated, the country style fits perfectly with the overall picture and adds a special charm.
The breakfast was very good, homemade, and delicious with a wide selection.
We were extremely satisfied and look forward to our next visit.

I really enjoyed the location. The location was not far from Stellenbosch, but it was quiet enough, just as a wine farm should be. My highlights were the complimentary wine tasting and the aesthetics of the tasting room. The lady in the tasting room was also quite pleasant, making the whole experience great.
Breakfast does not include a lot of options and variety. Not all of us eat the standard eggs and bacon but still prefer a warm breakfast, so adding a few things to cater to those visitors would be wonderful.

Good location, clean and well-equipped rooms. Generous gift of a bottle of wine. Free wifii. Breakfast included.
Pity that all of the great things were marred by a cold shower. Very unresponsive front desk to the issue. No apology. No offer of a solution (although it was on check out that I notified them so maybe they don't think it is necessary to show initiative to sort it out as I was leaving.

The breakfast was excellent. Good/prompt service, and the food preparation and presentation was excellent.
The grounds were well kept.
We were permitted to leave our bags in a locked closet until after the 2pm check in. This courtesy was appreciated.
The room was very disappointing, and the bed was cheap/uncomfortable. It may have been our room alone, but it was small, poorly outfitted and dated, and not at all as expected given the traveler and hotel ratings. As one example, while there was a bottle of wine provided with the room (which neither of us enjoyed), no drinking water was provided. Another example was the door locks. It would have been very easy to pull open the French doors, and so we did not feel comfortable with the security of the room. We felt misled by the pictures, and it did not strike us as being anywhere near a 4star property.
The grounds were quite small, and the adjacent property to the east was very noisy. Again, we felt misled, with the pictures suggesting there were substantial grounds on which to walk and relax. However, this was not the case, with the views shown of neighboring properties.
If your room is facing the road/highway, it is very loud. There are regularly cars and motorcycles winding out their engines, and it is not at all the quiet, vineyard ambiance one might expect.

What a stunning surprise! Truly beautiful premises and rooms.
Maybe a little out of the way for some wanting to be in the heart of Stellies, but wasn’t an issue for us

The rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds. We had everything we needed and the staff provided us with anything we asked for. The scenery is stunning. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and they had a nice variety. The best part was the wine tasting though. We stayed here for a wedding down the road and found it to be an excellent spot for a wedding party to base themselves in the area.

The receptionist Janine was efficient and friendly, and she offered us a free wine tasting, answered all our questions at the wine testing. We received a complimentary bottle of dry red. The hotel has a pool and the breakfast was a cold buffet (fruit, cereals, yogurt, cheese and cold meats as well as a freshly prepared personalised hot breakfast, you choose your sausage, bacon and eggs/omelette. It was nicely presented. Unlimited coffee and juice. The hotel also asks on whatsApp your expected time of arrival which I thought was a good gesture. The bed was very comfortable
The shower leaked onto the floor which is dangerous. The toilet also leaked which is not hygienic. This should be attended to. As we only booked for 1 night, we did not complain or request to change the room.

Location is perfect. Rooms are excellent.
Staff very welcoming and able to attend to you.
Close to town, still able to enjoy the the “farm experience. Waking up seeing the vineyard and hearing the farm animals, makes it extra special.

Everything, the staff, the rooms, the service, the wine tasting and the wines. they were all perfect. Celestino brought us through the wine tasting and it was brilliant and personal experience. We ended up buying quite a bit of their wine which just was extremely good compared to other tastings we had in our trip. A place we will go to again in the near future.
Nothing, it was perfect, although on hind sight taking the second-floor rooms will give yu a much better view if thats what you are looking for. If not the ground floor was brilliant too.

The environment is beautiful, calm, and quiet. The room and bathroom are extremely comfortable, well-equipped, and spacious. The staff is excellent. We arrived at night, when the front desk was closed, but we had been informed that we would be welcomed by the security guard, and everything went perfectly!
The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant for dinner, but this is clearly stated on the website, so it’s not a surprise. Besides, Uber Eats worked very well. The breakfast could have a few more options — it’s relatively simple.
