Lovely stay

The room was comfortable, the location excellent. Staff were all lovely and the pool area was great.

We really had a lovely stay, with nothing major to complain about. However things like having a bath plug that isn't falling apart are the small details that do matter when you have paid quite a bit for the stay - I had a bath and the bath plug was extremely hard to get out due to not having a chain or any grip on it. I would say also that for breakfasts, which were generally good, fresh fruit should be used and not tinned fruits!

The room was clean, as was the bedding. Breakfast was great with lots of verity available. The views from the room and hotel were spectacular.

The shower in the bathroom was very small. The safe was not bolted to the wall.

Extremely comfortable.

The breakfast was great. Well stocked with something for everyone. I had a traditional English breakfast everyday whilst my wife enjoyed the healthy cereal, fruits, tomatoes and mushrooms. The location was very nice, I liked the fact that it was not bang in the middle of the town but within a few minutes of Stellenbosh Square and Ekistad Malls. Shopping within reach from the “countryside”.

The cold, coming from 40 degrees in the shade, that was a bit painful outside the buildings. Inside temperature controlled, Perfect.

Good location away from major towns with great views and good swimming facilities.

Breakfast was very good and the location also good with views. Room was fine and also with a view. Complex felt safe and the pools were good too.

Restaurant ran out of certain beers and drinks and still hadn't restocked by the next night. Restaurant staff also seemed a little tired - there had been quite a few conferences on over the weekend.

Got woken up by the room cleaning team on the Sunday morning at 8:15am There was a year end function on at the hotel - had a lot of drunk guests returning to their rooms at 1am - 2am in the morning making one hell of a noise

A great Hotel and location to enjoy and explore the surroundings. We will stay again.

The Location is stunning. I requested a room with a view and this was arranged and we were allocated with a room upstairs that had a stunning view of the mountains and surrounding areas. A perfect position to enjoy the surrounds. The breakfast spread was fantastic and again the breakfast room was well positioned to appreciate the beautiful views. We would definitely stay here again. Loved it and the location.

It was a great pity that the rooms balcony did not have a table and 2 chairs to sit and take in and appreciate the beautiful views. Suggestion for management: This would be a welcome addition.

Overall satisfactory

The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. Nice larger hairdryer with a diffuser was a good touch. Staff were very kind and polite. Room was fairly quiet.

Paying R2000 per night for one person I expected the room and bathroom to be a bit larger. I had to unplug the fridge as it sounded like an ice machine in the night. I didn't like the restaurant. I felt all the food was very complicated. Would have been nice to have something simple like a toasted sandwich or a plain soup especially as one is eating all day when attending a congress.

My room was unclean. Even on day 2, the same dirt remained. Evident that the room was not swept, nor mopped. Both face towel and bedroom slippers were unavailable upon request.

It was amazing. I loved the views and the quiet it came with.

The breakfast!! It was superb with so many options to choose from! I loved the food and the views during breakfast!

The bathroom were extremely small for the amount paid. The housekeeper had issues with doing her job! She’d pick our towels and not return them until I phone in reception! The receptionists were also in a haste to just check you in without explaining into detail. I walked a few times to breakfast before realizing there were free shuttles to convey you to and from 😮‍💨.

I believe under normal circumstances; the hotel was just not well prepared!

The room was clean and positioned so well that my view was the wine farm across the fence. Breakfast was great. The staff members who were meant to be the waiters were very unwelcoming.

The hotel didn't have a backup supply of water, jojo tanks or a borehole supplying the ablution areas. There was a burst pipe in the area, and it was a struggle to get water to flush.

The cleaning / house keeping staff knocked on the door at 8:30 for room cleaning (only due to check out at 11am) then continued to have loud conversations outside the room. When I went and returned from breakfast they were sitting in the room next door having loud conversations waiting for me to leave.
