Apart from the comments below I was very satisfied
Facilities, staff and food were excellent. My only two comments are that the stairs to get upstairs are not really for the ederly and the noise from the road passing is not great if you have the windows open - that is from my room which faces the road and traffic lights.

we had an awesome breakfast everyday. the bed was comfortable, aircon added heat as it was cold in Stellenbosch
it is advertised as self catering, we had no kitchen utensils in the kitchen. NOTHING. The shower needs a door as the very small bathroom is soaked after a shower. I am a very small person and took great care not to splash to much but it still got very wet.
