A very nice apartment in a quiet area with shops nearby.

A very nice apartment (one of the few available at the property). We stayed in the Executive King Suite, which is quite spacious. The room included a sleeping area with a very comfortable bed, a work desk, and a sofa in the kitchen area (a small table there would have been a nice addition). There was also a table outside the room where we could sit in the evening. In addition, there is a spacious garden area with a comfortable lounge corner and a small swimming pool (although we did not use it, so it’s hard to say more). The area is very quiet and within a short walking distance of a small shopping center with a Spar supermarket and a drugstore—everything one might need for a short holiday.

The “tea/coffee maker” mentioned in the description is actually just a kettle with a selection of teas and instant coffee. It would be nice to have some kind of coffee machine. When we asked, we were given a French press, which was great to have. Ideally, this should be included as part of the standard kitchen equipment from the start. Although the area itself is quiet, the pool and garden of the property can be rather noisy. The manager’s grandchildren are often there and, like many kids, tend to scream more than talk, which is not a very relaxing atmosphere. After we mentioned this, the children were no longer outside.

It was the cheapest stay we could find in Stellenbosch for me and two students so we took it. I did expect a little more at the price but I suppose that is Stellenbosch prices for you. Loved the aircon and had a dip in the quaint little pool. Owner was helpful. Lovely linen and all the amenities that you could want

I did expect a little more for the price. Possibly drinking water in the fridge .Outside stoep had not been cleaned as there was cigarette buts in the ashtray. Other than that totally passable for a one night stay and nothing that I can fault it with.

The mezzanine room above my room was exceptionally noisy and you can hear the person using the toilet speaking and moving around. The bathroom shower feels very exposed to the above windows where the covering does not meet the window.

A comfortable stay at a great location

This guest house was very conveniently located. The hostess was very friendly and kind. Checking in was easy and without any problems. I had a pretty small room, but it was perfect for what I needed. There was even a nice working space for doing some remote work. Even though everything was compact I never felt cramped, and I'm a big person! All in all a great experience and I'll stay here again.

It was a bit noisy with the German students staying there. This is however not the fault of the establishment.

We had breakfast in the garden & Liza-Mari cooked a very nice breakfast for us & there was also a selection of continental items. Liza-Mari recommended an excellent restaurant & made a reservation for us & also assisted in planning a route to visit wineries & the airport. Room was a very good size, very clean with cooking facilities, desk & sitting area & very homely & relaxing. There was also a patio outside the room with table & chairs. We were able to park securely inside the gates of the property.

The guest house was a little further than we thought to walk into the town but we managed to walk there & get an Uber back which was very reasonable.

Cockroach on my bed

The hostess was excellent ,helpful and kind hearted. She creates a comfortable ,all you need on a trip set up. Homely touches, chocolate on the pillow fairy lights for load shedding and rusks with your coffee. Would definitely visit again.

We did not have breakfast

there were no emergency lights in the room. We had loadshedding when we got up in the morning and had to use our phones to light the room while we washed and dressed. Since loadshedding is now a feature of life in RSA providing emergency, rechargeable LED lighting is a must have requirement.
