We would not stay there. It was terrible and unsafe.

We found the place so bad that we didn’t stay there.

It was small, dirty more like a closet than a room. No window , up a rickety stairs , past a washer and dryer in the entrance to the hotel. The main door had to be kept locked because it’s so unsafe. It’s below street level and had no one in attendance.

Loved our stay grear place

Luc was amazing - helpful and accomodating. We loved her place / so much space for a family of 4, plus kitchen facilities. Looks and feels so much better the in the photos. The shower was the best out of our whole 3 week trip around Central America so far. Very central, Would definitely recommend.

Friendly & cosy

We liked the location being a short walk from San Ignacio town centre but a little quieter. Lucy was really helpful & happy to give advice on tours & restaurants. The room was clean, cosy & a good size. It was nice having access to the kitchen to make coffee, store things in the fridge, & I liked that there was filtered water available.

the only thing that it was missing was a window to outside just for a bit of fresh air

Lovely host and many nice amenities at a reasonable price

Well equipped space with access to a kitchen with refrigerator, TV with many channels, free drinkable water. Very convenient location less than 10 minute walk to the center of San Ignacio. The owner Lucy was fantastic - she helped with ideas about what to do/where to eat, dried our wet clothes from our tubing adventure for us and was very responsive to any problems we had. She is a great host!

The inn is on a somewhat busy road and my husband was bothered by the road noise (it did not bother me but my husband is a very light sleeper). Lucy moved us to a room at the back of the building and that was much quieter. Also the water in the shower is just warm, not hot

Excellent host and safe place, just wish it was cleaner.

The host is absolutely lovely! Very helpful and kind. I felt safe and comfortable staying there The room was big and had everything you need in it. I liked that the host provided water, there’s laundry services, and if you need a pot or pan that’s not around to cook with she was quick to provide anything extra you needed.

My room had cobwebs at the bathroom sink and by the towel bars (which I found odd because you’d think it’d be cleaned well before a guest arrives). The lounge chair had a layer of black dirt at the edges.

Friendly, helpful host

Very helpful host who helped us by clarifying our next booking by phone ( in Spanish) and very responsive to any questions. Short , pleasant walk into town. Kitchen facilities(basic) and fridge and air conditioning. Overall simple but adequate .

It is on a busy road so noisy when sitting outside ( but fine inside). Filtered water would be nice. Bath mats could be cleaner but otherwise the room was clean.

Da funky, strange place to stay near San Ignacio

An inexpensive basic room not too far from town. There are two beds, so good for a group. WiFi is strong. Hostess is friendly.

The place is across the bridge, so it’s a 10 minute walk to the little center. The room is odd, with strange decor and a bathroom light that turns off after a minute. The hostess did not warm me I have to pay cash to avoid a fee until the last minute.

Budget friendly stay

Lucy is a very good host.She greeted us promptly upon arrival. From the outside it looks like an old building but once we stepped into our room it was very neat and spacious. Everything was kept clean. Provided the wifi and the signal was pretty good. TV with cable. Lucy talked to us extensively and provided all the necessary information for our stay. She also acted as a local guide and shared tips on places to visit near by and time taken etc. made us feel comfortable during our entire stay. If you are expecting a luxurious place and location, it may not be your choice. But definitely Worth the price paid for the place.

Shower head could be a bit better. Also if there is a possibility of parking in a bit secluded place than directly on the street ! Nothing much to not like for a short stay

It was a great location to places we wanted to get to. Lucy is a great host and took time to answer questions we had. She also let us keep our bags in our room till we got back on a tour. Convenient location when you check in late and next door is a fantastic pizza joint.

Location, the staff was very nice and helpful, having my laundry done was a surprise and made my trip better.

I loved the room and Lucy’s help.

It was a great location. The rooms were spacious and clean. The air conditioning was wonderful. the back up generator was much appreciated.

The bed and pillows were extremely hard and there was plastic covering it that loud every time you moved.

Excellent location and great value for anyone exploring the Cayo District

This was the perfect location to base all of my adventures in the Cayo District. It’s close enough to easily walk to downtown, with all of the restaurants and shops and bus terminal. Lucy went out of her way to make my stay excellent. My room was clean, quiet, and had everything I needed.
