I can inly say good things about this hotel. It’s in heart of downtown area so easy to access everywhere. Room was clean. We even got upgraded for very nicer room. I’ll definitely stay this hotel again if I go back to San Ignacio.

I had a great stay at the Venus hotel. It is located right on Burns ave and is near many restaurants, shops, and tour companies which is very convenient. There agreement with a nearby hotel to use there pool was a bonus and nice to get out on those hot days. Staff were helpful and happy to answer any questions. Having the balcony areas was a nice place to unwind with a view of either the main square or of the activity on Burns ave. Recommend staying here.

Good location in the heart of “downtown”. Can be a bit noisy at night though, but not late.

Positive: Great location. Low budget.
Minor negative: equivalent to a hostel private room. Ok for a night or two, very uncomfortable for longer stay.
Major Negative: very unfriendly staff, they look at all time angry with stone face. The only unfriendly people I ever met in Belize. They were not rude, but lack personality to work as hotel staff. I feel bad for the owner.
