Good value for money

The host was so helpful and provided us with lots of useful information, including helping us to arrange a tour. The room itself was clean and spacious. Good location - it is a few mins walk from the centre of town (you have to cross over a bridge). There is a fridge and microwave provided in the room.

The mattress was very uncomfortable - really spongy.

The hotel was basic.

The staff were attentive and friendly. There was a washing machine and dryer which could be used for a fee, there was a large water jug available.

The sofa bed was not comfortable. The room was advertised as coming with toiletries, which meant soap.

Clean place near city center

Hosts Shawn and Regina are very responsive. Regina gave me tips on where we can go near downtown as we were in San Ignacio only for one day. We went to the Cahal Pech Ruins. She said to take a taxi US $5 to the ruins as uphill but walk down after the visit to the city center as it’s downhill. It was about a 25 minute walk. Clean place Few minutes walk across the bridge to center to restaurants and market. Below the bridge is a nice park by the river. I saw a family having a picnic and kids swimming in the river. River looks clean. San Ignacio has no trash scattered on the streets. They are respectful of their town. A/C, hot shower, microwave, tv, water kettle and ref are all working well. Filtered water to fill up your own bottle available for all guests. Such a welcome.

Old and dated apartment but clean so it’s a good value.

Definitely a MUST stay ☺️👌🏾

I stayed in Room 4, and it was very spacious, clean, cozy, and felt just like a home stay. The room is very family-friendly, with bunk beds and a TV in one part of the room, and a large bed with another TV in a separate area. The room is well equipped with fans and an A/C unit, a mini refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board, a couch, and plenty of storage for clothes. There is also a safety box for personal items, as well as tables and counters to eat and place food. The room also includes a lamp and lamp stand with drawers next to the bed. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower has both hot and cold water. The restaurant downstairs serves delicious food at very reasonable prices. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly, which made the stay even better. I highly recommend this hotel as you get value for your money! I will definitely return.

Comfortable and safe stay. Staff was very nice. Easy walk to everywhere I wanted to go.

The windows are shut so it can get a bit warm/humid but there's a fan and air conditioning so it was fine.

Very clean and nice room. The beds were comfortable. The owner responded very quickly to my requests. The location was perfect, just a short walk to restaurants and local tour operators. I will stay again.

À part ce que j’ai dit, c’était tout parfait et le personnel OK

Rien à redire sur la chambre très propre très bien parce que frigo micro-ondes je trouve malheureux qu’il n’a pas de chaise à la table. Sinon c’est parfait.

La seule chose que je reproche apostrophe qu’il n’y a pas de déjeuner le matin. Sinon tout est parfait. Rien à redire j’y retournerai sans problème.

Très bien, bon accueil, possibilité de laisser les bagages avant le départ, un peu excentré mais près du centre.

Présence de minuscules fourmis dans le lavabo, matelas à remplacer.
