Great location near the town centre but also close to some nice restaurants and cafes on the edge of town. Was nicer inside than we expected from the pictures - super clean and we were very grateful for the aircon after a few days in places without it.
Nothing! Worth noting it’s cash only but there’s a no fee atm at the Atlantic bank down the road

A very comfortable place just a few blocks from the center of town. The house had seven guest rooms, each with a private bath. The eighth room was for the onsite manager, who was very helpful throughout my stay and a pleasure to talk to.
The kitchen was sufficient to meet the guests' cooking needs and it was nice to not have to eat out for every meal. The place was pleasant and most guests were middle aged travelers. This was certainly not a party hostel. Also having the manager living onsite help alleviate any possible issues, though there were none during my stay..
There really weren't any issues to speak of. I would definitely stay here again.

The location is central to most amenities, and within walking distance of one of the Maya ruins (Cahal Pech).
Hugo, the manager is friendly and very helpful with suggestions.
The kitchen is large and well ventilated, with necessary appliances, dishes, pots, etc.
Noise travels. When guests use the kitchen early morning and talking loud, it can be difficult to sleep. For the most part, it was not frequent.
