Ruined by the letting agents die to the non return of deposit

The property itself was clean and comfortable

The company who rents out the property ask for a £250 deposit but do not give this back to you. You have to practically beg for your own money back. We were a group of 10 guests away playing rugby for a charity event. We were clean tidy and respectful of the property at all times. I still haven’t received my refundable deposit 21 days after our stay. It’s both unacceptable unprofessional. Book with caution

Amazing

Stayed here before and loved it so much just had to return with my family from overseas. The home was amazing and location is great! Literally next to the Winter Gardens and just behind the Blackpool Tower with some lovely views of the Tower from all the rooms! The communication was quick and very helpful. Family thought the flowers walls were a great touch and super unique, amazing photo opportunity. The beds were super comfy. The parking spots were great and an added bonus Deposit was returned quickly! No issues at all would highly recommend!

The house is beautifully furnished and looks exactly like the photos. It’s in a great location and within walking distance of the tower and seafront etc. There’s plenty of space for a large group.

More storage in the bedrooms would have been useful but not a major problem for a short stay.

Exceptional value for money

The house was perfect in every way warm very modern it had everything we needed. We just didn't want to leave. If you do venture out the location is perfect from everything just a few mins walk from the tower. The house has a great view of the tower from the bedrooms. The sitting area is gorgeous for a perfect get together. We just loved the flower walls and every room was decorated and furnished elegantly. We will be avoiding those dingy b&bs and staying at the Monopoly on our next trip. Great value.

This stay boasted of 'luxury' accommodation but left me feeling ripped off, used and abused.

About a week before the holiday I started receiving messages warning me not to 'sneak' people into the house. I was puzzled and asked them to explain to which they answered I had stated 10 adults originally and would it still be ten adults. I responded we were also taking two children - a 12 year old and a 3 year old. At that point they demanded an extra £40 each per night for the children and a £200 payment in the event of damages. Then they sent a huge list of don'ts when you were in the property - this put me off before I went. Despite the fact that the property was left in good condition - no refund has been made. The code for the door was sent nearly an hour late, pigeon excrement covered the hand rail at the entrance - this could easily have been prevented by mesh properly placed. The noise from next door was constant and sometimes through the night. In addition there was a selection of characters who knocked at the door at all times of day and night demanding access. Towels were small and nowhere to dry them. Beds were poor quality. We weren't allowed the lock for the bins and had to store all rubbish in the back passage. There were both insufficient cooking utensils, pots, pans and crockery. Some rooms had no towels. The table was for only 6 people - we had a party of 12. No cooling system therefore uncomfortable during warm weather. Despite leaving on time and with no breakages and all rooms in good and tidy condition the damage deposit has not been returned - I had predicted this would happen before we even arrived at the house due to the tone and content of messages and the way rules had changed since the original booking to allow them to demand extra money that we were forced to pay.

Lovely house, great location, thank you!

The location was great, very near to the seafront. The decor was lovely, it was practical to have 2 living rooms as we had 4 teenagers with us. Comfortable beds.

It would have been lovely to have some extra folding chairs so that we could all sit together as a family, which is what we are used to doing. The table only had 6 chairs but there were 9 of us. The bedrooms on the top floor could do with either some drawers or a basic hanging rail so that those of us on the top floor had somewhere to put clothes. It wasn't a big deal though, I just draped them all on a radiator.

Wonderful Holiday Home

Monopoly Holiday Home is amazing!! Myself and 9 friends stayed here for my hen weekend in Blackpool and we had an excellent time. The house is beautiful and has everything you need. The location is excellent too and only a 5/10 minute walk from the promenade. I highly recommend this property, the staff are great too and always on hand to answer any queries before your stay.

Excellent location within a massive, clean house with very funky photo ops!

Location was excellent as only a short walk from both the train station, a massive Sainsbury’s and a the Blackpool tower! The hosts were super responsive throughout the process and the parking for 4 cars was such a bonus also. Would definitely recommend.

Lighter duvets on the bed as was super warm and actual curtain rather than blinds as very bright in the morning.

Perfect hen party house

The house was just fabulous- even better than the photos. It is in a great location. We were a group of 14 for my daughter’s hen party and it was a very short walk to Funny Girls and to the sea front. The house was comfortable and spacious for us all. Beds are really comfortable and the house was spotlessly clean. The suites on the first floor are beautifully done and the girls loved the flower walls and ‘throne’ for photos. There is a second seating area next to the dining area too. The owners were really helpful and happy to answer questions and give recommendations. The deposit was swiftly returned after our stay

The kitchen was well equipped but could do with a spare empty cupboard to put our food in. The parking spaces are small and require a bit of manoeuvring to get on - but there’s a convenient car park opposite.

There isnt really anything to complain about the whole thing was brilliant and my dad enjoyed his 60th and it was nice to get the family together

The only thing that we was abit upset about is the neighbours joined on putting the TV on really late and early hours in the morning which woke the little ones up and a couple of the adults up and there was no reason for it as we was all in bed at latest at 22:30 at night and we always kept the noise down a couple or adults ended up going round and knocking but no one answered but apart from this everything was good

Fabulous location only 5 mins behind the Tower! House was huge, super clean, super modern and the house owners were great and easy to deal with. Sheets and towels smelt amazing and fluffy soft. Very much felt like a home from home and made our stay in Blackpool extra comfortable.

Lovely big house

Lovely big house, its newly decorated and very grand. Plenty of space and everything you need. Good location next to the tower and across from winter gardens. Parking is a nightmare in Blackpool so the free parking is appreciated, although is tight and not for the faint hearted! As girls we would have preferred 2 towels in each room, 1 for hair and body. Hosts are helpful and fast at answering any questions, thanks for help with the parking

Needs improving

Lounge and kitchen were upto date.

Some bedroom doors didn't have locks and some shower door locks didn't work. The mattresses were not firm enough and pillows too soft. Also no wardrobes or hooks on doors for hanging clothes. Would have been nice to have A.C or at least wall fans in the bedrooms. Some shower rooms had very small sinks. Dining table is too small considering accommodation is for 15 people. Should have one big Dining room or 1 table in each room.

The property has been decorated really well and the location is great. The free parking is an added bonus. From the minute we booked communication with the host was excellent. I would definitely book to stay here again and recommend Monopoly Holiday Home for a great stay in Blackpool.

Perfect House for large groups looking to stay in Blackpool

The house is very nicely decorated and spacious with a large sitting room for the evenings. The kitchen has everything we needed including a washing machine and tumble dryer. The bathrooms are nice and spacious and there was plenty of hot water and good pressure in the showers. The location is ideal, just across from the Winter Gardens and close to the Tower, town center and sea front. with parking for 3 cars included. Lastly, the owner is responsive and prompt to messages. A perfect week.
