Wonderful stay in Basel

We love the top floor room with balcony and lush green garden view. Maria the manager was a super host. She managed everything so that we had a wonderful stay. We are coming back next year!!

Perfect short term stay

The biggest asset for these apartments is Maria the manager. This is someone who goes out of her way to ensure you have a good stay. She's efficient, friendly and kind. With huge parades in the old town on the day we were leaving, she realized that we wouldn't be able to get the taxi booked and even though it was her off day and the weekend, she arrived to escort us to a part outside of the old town and organized transport for us. She really is a star. We really enjoyed our spacious, spotlessly clean and neat apartment with the balcony an added bonus. The location was so perfect in the old town, you could walk everywhere and we were surrounded by restaurants, bakeries and a grocery store. Very close to the Rathuis and market square.

Outstanding experience!

The apartment was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and ideally located right in the heart of Basel, yet on a quiet and safe street. Maria was incredibly welcoming and responsive. She was flexible with both check-in and check-out times, and even provided a portable A/C upon request. The overall experience was exceptional, and I would highly recommend staying here

Superb stay in beautiful Basel.

Lovely, clean apartment in the heart of Basel. Maria is a fabulous host. Very friendly. She was most accommodating to requests, such as a late check-out. Also very helpful with recommendations of places to eat and navigating local transport. I felt safe and comfortable throughout the stay.

A beautiful vacation in a spacious room with a balcony overlooking the rooftops of the old city.

Maria sent clear instructions and information prior to our arrival, and we received a warm welcome when we met her. In addition the cleaning staff did a very good job.

There’s nothing I didn’t like. The only recommendation I can think of - Perhaps guests should know of the option to take the bus to the airport, which is very convenient.

Superb

The apartment is in a perfect location, on a quiet street for sleeping but very close to the tram/bus stops, restaurants, shopping and one of the two Christmas markets in Basel. The apartment was immaculate, especially the bathroom. The microwave/oven/toaster combo was very convenient for heating up all kinds of food. We just had to google the model to figure out how to use it. The hairdryer was the best I ever used in any hotel. But what made the stay really great was Maria, the property manager. She was very responsive when I messaged or called her with questions. She was even nicer in person.

The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were not. They were big but really flat so we just folded them up. There was a note that we could ask for other pillows but reception was closed on weekends.

Basel in the Autumn

Everything was perfect for my needs. The apartment was fresh, very clean and well equipped. I loved the terrace looking towards the old town houses and gardens. Maria was very friendly and helpful. She is a great credit to the company! Thanks also to the cleaning team; daily cleaning and fresh towels. I was not expecting to be looked after so well! Thank you.

Perfect long-stay accomodation in the centre of Basel

A home away from home: I booked for 1 month but unfortunately left 3 week into stay due to work commitments. Extremely comfortable and felt right at home away from Sydney! Bus ride from EuroAirport can get you within walking distance. And they supply you with a 30 day BaselCard so free public transport for your stay. Location close to Marktplatz is absolutely perfect in Basel with constant stream of trams available within 30 second walking distance and all the must-see parts of Basel very accessible. COOP and Migros within 30 second walking distance for supplies. Perfect street with minimal noise (except on one Sunday morning where a terrible trumpet player ruined the early morning peace and quiet) but otherwise a perfect night sleep every night. Hot water and heating was excellent. Kitchen with microwave/stove/oven/utensils and fridge meant meal preparation was never an issue if I wanted to cook. Having self-service ironing and laundry available in the building meant I didn't have to worry about managing my washing etc. You can hang all your coats and suits and arrange your clothes as if you're at home. Daily room cleaning during the week meant you always come back to a sparkling clean room and they even washed the dishes if hadn't washed them! Superfast internet and a SmartTV meant access to the internet and entertainment was never an issue. Basel SBB within 10 minute tram ride meant travelling to other cities was always easy. Both Annette and Maria were a pleasure to deal with and happy to help in anyway possible, from very smooth check-in to kindly storing my luggage for me while I was away for a short trip. I'd highly recommend this place as a long-stay accomodation and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Noisy people staying next door can ruin a night but that was very rare.

Die Lage ist wirklich gut. Nähe Marktplatz, sehr zentral in alle Richtungen. Es war alles sehr sauber. Die Kommunikation und Informationen zur Unterkunft/einchecken kamen genau zur richtigen Zeit und gut erklärt. Alles bestens.

Mir hat ein Wasserkocher gefehlt, das würde für mich zur Standard Ausstattung gehören.

Entspannter Aufenthalt mit schönem Blick über die Dächer.

Das Apartment auf dem Executive Floor war äusserst ruhig und sehr hell. Von dem geräumigen Balkon aus hat man einen herrlichen Ausblick auf alte Häuser mit ihren roten Dächern. Man konnte den Vögeln und einem Brunnen lauschen. Das Apartment ist sehr zentral gelegen. Die Kommunikation mit der Managerin war ausserordentlich gut und freundlich.

Eigentlich nichts - ausser die Temperatur, denn es kann heiss werden im Apartment. Das lässt sich jedoch nicht vermeiden, da es sich ganz oben befindet und im Sommer ab dem Nachmittag die Sonne hineinscheint. Das gleicht jedoch die (relativ laute) Klimaanlage aus.
