Cosy apartment in quiet alley

Apartament was clean and cosy. Located in the quiet alley with the walking distance to bus station,shops and main attractions. Responsive and helpful staff. We found the location easily (when you have a restaurant at your back entrance is in the corner). Perfect apartment for someone who wants to explore Venice.

Everything was fine. Extra one or two towels could help.

You have to take the key from another apartment 10 mins away from Home lovers. You dont know that until the day before your arrival, even if you ask for directions. I asked three times for directions in order to reserve a taxi and the answer i was gettin, was that i will be informed the day before my arrival. My reservation was clearly including a 14 days before my arrival cjarge but instead they charged me 25 days before and when i send a message, the owner told me that he/she is not managing the charges and i need to talk to someone else who does not speak English and send me a translator in order to send him a message in Italian

If you book your stay in one of the cheapest apartment on Venetian Laguna, in central location close to Grand Canal,10 min walk from Ponte Rialto and 10 min from train station you cannot complain on old fernitures, small shower, noisy AC or very old kitchen. If you are back-packer or you used to sleep in hostels, this apartment is all you need. 2 king-size beds and 1 bunk bed. Very good for family who need place to sleep and eat breakfast. If you plan romantic trip or you usually stay in 4*/5* all inclusive hotels, check photos again and think twice :) Positives: -Comfortable beds -Very good location -5 min to Coop supermarket -heating for cold days (winter) -fast wifi

My feedback is still positive, nothing surprised me negatively in apartment but it would be good to equip kitchen in sharp knifes and maybe wine glasses. Negatives - keys pick up point (locker) is 10 min walk from apartment. If you arrive at night or with big heavy suitcase on wheels it can be killer. Also if someone don't know how to navigate through narrow streets of medieval city centers it can be difficult and frustrating

Good for the money, wouldn't stay here twice

If you have travelled around Italy you would know that most of the apartments are very small, having a private bath&kitchen is a luxury at this price (100eur/per/3nights in April). You will get more than average for this budget, but wouldn't pay more than this. +Good for the money +Location, 10 mins to Rialto Bridge, another 10' to San Marco +Very nice, good italian restaurant right across the building +Apartment is big (can fit 6 ppl, 2 double beds and 1 bunk bed) +You have iron, washing&drying machine, 1 towel/person, some shower gel and shampoo +Moderate clean +Keys needed to be picked from another building but easy if you follow directions

I would give a 7 if not for this, 5 is just so I don't ruin their score. I am not a fussy guess, but when it comes to safety I do not compromise. Also, it can ruin your entire peace during the vacation. The power plant (heater) was making a very loud and strange noise when starting but also during the whole night, we were sleeping in the other room and woke us up multiple times during the night. We had to turn it off every now and then just because we were scared it will blow or a leak could happen. I contacted the owner immediately but she told us it's safe, wouldn't bother to come and check. I have same power plant in my apt at home and never made that noise, you cannot take this so unserious, it's a rental after all. We were very stressed during the night so that nothing happens, not the best time you would imagine. I suggest the host to take a serious check on that, I would not risk anyone's safety. - Apt needs some good recondition (nothing 2022 specific, as in the title) - Shower cap was broken, keeps falling - Small kitchen with just the necessary (toaster didn't work, kettle was very dirty) - Owner's attitude - Noise from the recycle boat every morning - One bed is same room as the kitchen separated by curtains although you cannot tell from pictures

Very bad experience.

Location

Cleaneness was at a low level, and smelly rooms, dirty shower, unsafe electricity spots. We had to pick up keys at different location, 10 minute walk away another direction about this we got to know only day before check in, after they already charged money from the card. We would never choose this place if we knew that key pick up is from a locker and so far away. It is very complicated to waste 20 minutes during the hot day and with 3 children cross Venice through bridges and with 7 suit cases. Moreover at the appartment was left washrack with wet towels and bedding what took whole corridor. I would verify this facility rating. Moreover when we were calling the receptionist, they did not answer and did not call back, although we mentioned that check in will be at 14-15 , and had problems with finding the locker.

Made the job for us, but really perfectible.

The informations and tips given by the owner were quite clear and usefully. We found the whole system to get the keys from a lock prior arriving to the flat pretty convenient. The location is nice and a little away from the most touristic areas, it suited us. The price was interesting.

The doors can't close properly, especially the bathroom's, this can be very embarrassing... The flat is poorly lighted in general and one the light bulb wasn't working in one of the room. Some of the windows and wooden shutters are really not in a good shape and don't close very well. The taps on the kitchen and bathroom sinks are not well fixed in place and are moving a lot. The shower is a bit small but ok, it's really hard to get a constant temperature though. The cleaning wasn't really good especially in the bathroom. If you sleep in the small bedroom, it can be VERY noisy outside, at night when the close the restaurant nextdoor and in the morning when they open it, and because of the boats. The general smell in the flat wasn't pleasant (moisture). The owner should really put some effort on the general maintenance of the flat, we just stayed one night and the price was attractive so we can't complain too much but still some of the above complaints are almost not acceptable. I assume that some of them are common in Venezia (doors!) because of moisture but it's not an excuse and it is fixable.

Localization was quite nice, apartment Was average, but would Not recommend.

Localization and that apartment was quite Big.

After we arrived to Venice we realized that keys are in completely different place than our apartment... It wasn’t easy to find It in complicated Venice Streets with heavy luggage so we Lost at least one hour to finally get to Home Lovers. Also one day we forgot to take Keys with us and we left them in the apartament. It occured that we had to pay 70 euros (sic!) to get inside... Also our host adviced us first to open door with credit card and admitted that it happened many times before. When we wrote her that is was not very safe she said that we were supposed to close the door with key. We are convinced that they close automatically like in other apartments in Italy so nobody informed us to do differently...
