The location was to attend a wedding at Darley Mills, a ‘12 minute walk’. Sadly there was an issue with the riverbank and the connecting bridge was closed. However Albatross taxis were excellent, very responsive and friendly.
The accommodation was very comfortable, I had everything that I needed. The breakfast was superb. The folk that manage the accommodation were excellent, friendly, accommodating and there were ‘ lovely touches’. Complimentary fresh milk, amazing home cooked brownies and other available drinks snacks that could be chosen and paid for.
It would have been nice if the bridge had been open. However it wasn’t really a problem.

Quality of the house, the organisation for the guests.

Room design, friendly staff, lovely breakfast
Room too hot, no ventilation even with window and door open, other guests smoking in garden below my window which exacerbated my asthma and caused me to have a chest infection
