Great value for money

Very convenient for Pride Park Stadium and the quality of the room and breakfast for the cost including parking was excellent.

Excellent value for money. Friendly staff.

Although very handy for the train station it was a little further away from the city centre than other accommodation options. But a short 10 mins walk along the river was fine for us but would not be for everyone.

Staff not helpful

Woman on the reception desk, didn’t mention that I have a discount code for parking. I only found out after hotel email confirming my booking. She was working following morning, I told her this and she gave me the card with code 🤦‍♂️ I had paid £21:10 for parking, I contacted the car parking company for refund.

Welcoming for dogs and the whole family

I really liked the fact they were dog friendly. They let our dog stay in our room, and I really appreciated the fact they let him sit with us at breakfast. A lot of other hotels I have been to will let dogs in the room, but not at the breakfast. They put us in a separate area to the other diners, but just being able to bring our dog with us downstairs to eat meant my family could all eat together. Thank you so much for letting our dog sit in the restaurant with us. They also gave us a dog gift bag that had two chews, a ball and waste bags. Our dog loved the chews and it helped keep him calm and occupied whilst we ate our breakfast.

The soundproofing could be better. We could hear people in other rooms that were loud/shouting.

I was disappointed with the breakfast and the cot size.

The food was nice, but it was a nightmare trying to get any. The hot breakfast selection was constantly empty despite us going down for breakfast around 40 mins before it closed. We couldn't sit down as a family to eat our food as we had to keep getting up to see if the food had been refilled. Then the orange juice was empty (and not refilled). Finally, there was around a ten min wait for cup for the hot drinks.

The cot for our one year old was far too small, we have travelled alot and have never been given such a tiny cot. He could barely move without waking himself up by touching the sides. Breakfast buffet needs to be kept filled better

Location and easy parking

Room layout. Bit cramped as a twin room with one bed pushed against wall. Lighting very poor and lack of dressing table (or 2nd mirror near socket) made getting ready to go out tricky when sharing as friends.
