i liked all aspects.

This is a well placed apartment block that is just a 10 minute stroll into the centre. My room was small but clean. Kitchen facilities were fine. It is a good value for money short stay place and I commend all the staff who were always helpful and freindly.

I was on the side of the building over looking the pub (nice pub!) and it did get a tad noisy.

Room and shared kitchen were clean. Staff were nice. Cleaners came in every week and cleaned the kitchen well.

The room was quite cold and the heating system did not work properly. The only option to warm up the room on demand was to boost the central heating to the entire flat for about an hour, including the rooms of the other guests. That boost also did not always work, leaving the max setting heater in my room cold even after the 1 hour boost. For the amount they charge for the room, I'd expect to have temperature control over my own room. Also, the hot water in the shower stopped if the washing machine was in use.

The bed was very soft and the one chair in the room was very firm. The television provided was not used by us but i know some may appreciate it. There was a good shower and toilet unsuited to the room and the doors to each room were secured with a key as well as the door to the flat and to the building, although the latter was secured with a code. The window was screened for privacy and the blinds managed to cover most of the incoming light

There is a bar right next door, which was playing loud music late into the night at the weekend. The thermostat for the accommodation was set very high and the radiators were scalding as a result. No one came in to clean, there was rotting food left in the fridge for a week and the floors were sticky, the bins weren't taken out etc.
