The view is breathtaking, and the natural garden with organic produce around just adds to the vibe, along with the amazing amenities, breakfast, staff and all.
Very hard to complain, but I’d say the bed was just slightly uncomfortable especially with the split between the mattresses as we asked for double, and the pillows aren’t the best, but I am being very picky here. Still great.
Do make sure you have the taxi or your transport bring you to Eleanor’s garden and not drop you off in town by Villa Ruffolo if you have luggage. The stairs are not pleasant with bags. That’s not the property’s fault of course.

The view from Carrubo cottage and garden was spectacular and sitting in the hot tub looking out over the coastline down to Minori and Maiori was wonderful. Breakfast was provided on the terrace, again with amazing views, and was delicious - fresh fruit, delicious pastries, home made lemon cake and eggs and bacon. The cottage itself was comfortable and spacious and was perfectly positioned for exploring Ravello and the Amalfi coast.
There was nothing we didn't like however the kitchen is very small and I think it would be a challenge if you really wanted to eat in a lot. It wasn't an issue for us as there are so many good restaurants in Ravello we just ate out every night. Just something to bear in mind.

Lovely private terrace with fabulous view over the coastline.
Very good breakfast.
Garage parking available.
Potential guests need to appreciate that there are a LOT of steps to get into the centre of Ravello.
