Eleanor' s Garden

The view, gardens and ambience is incomparable to anything we've ever experienced. Eleanor's Garden is situated just below Ravello's piazza, the Villas Rufalo and Cimbrone - it is quiet and peaceful and the view of the sea is breathtaking. The trek up the stone steps to the square in the heat of August was something but we easily acclimated and it is well worth the walk for the paradise that awaits you when you return.

We stayed in the Tower and the layout is not the most convenient for 5 nights and for two people in their 60's - though we are active types. Probably better suited for a younger couple or pals but the privacy, your own pool with a view of the coastline, and the walk out area from the bedroom for sunning, reading or having a cocktail can't be beat. Accessing the kitchen requires you to walk out of the main room and enter from another door - not a heavy lift but FYI. The bathroom on the main floor is spacious and upgraded but the only one so from the bed up top it requires a trek up or down a steep staircase. One suggestion on the main room is a loveseat and end table or coffee table rather than a table and two chairs - then you would have a place to relax inside the unit when the heat is oppressive - which it can be August!!

Great Staff, Private and secure parking on site. Large breakfast choice each morning. Amazing view of the ocean. Private terrace to relax outside. Small number of rooms so limited guests on the property at a time. Peacefull and relaxing. Room was well setup with everything you need. Air conditioning worked well. Easy access to Ravello.

There was nothing we did not like. Would have been nice to have a swimming pool on site. There are Jacuzzis available however this was for private use for the other rooms on the property.

Everything was perfect. One of the most stunning places we have ever been.
