This is a very special place to stay and I am so glad I chose it. The garden is spectacular, as are the views from it looking down along the Amalfi Coast. The breakfasts here are plentiful and varied and you get to enjoy them on a terrace that encompasses the incredible vista.
We arrived on a bus from Amalfi and had to traverse a lot of steps to arrive but gosh, the splendour of the garden made it so absolutely worthwhile. Salvatore does such a great job of keeping it trimmed and tidy and, although much smaller in scale, I think it rivalled the gardens at Villas Rufolo and Cimbrone for its beauty. There are common spaces as well as private areas for each room.
Martina, the manager, is very friendly and helpful and prompt at keeping in contact with you during your stay should you have any queries.
We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Eleanor’s Garden as a terrific place to stay.
The small kitchen in the alcove was a little awkward to access.

Our accommodations at Eleanor's Garden were beyond what we were expecting. The photos online not give the property its full due. The facilities were very large. And the view was superb as were the gardens and breakfast.

Exceptional location in Rovello looking down onto the Amalfi coast. Well apportioned apartment with a jacuzzi pool and large patio area with a magnificent view down onto teh coastal towns of Minori and Maiori. Really good pizza restaurant just outside the entrance to Eleanor's Garden and it is only a short 10 min walk up to the main village square of Rovello. The host, Martina, could not have been more helpful and accommodating. She assisted with booking our comfortable transfers from Salerno to the apartment and also again from the apartment to Naples International Airport. Well worth booking the large apartment with the sea view and pool, if available.

Our stay at Eleanor's Garden was exceptional. The accommodations were excellent and the property/view were fantastic.
Martina was absolutely wonderful and so helpful. As a local, she gave us good advice on places to eat and navigating our day trips. On our day trip to Positano, we were very happy to have heeded her counsel as the day went very smooth because of her help.
The additional staff were so friendly and hard working and we appreciated them very much.
Overall, an excellent visit to Eleanor's Garden and I would highly recommend a stay here.
The only thing we would improve was the cost per night - while it was an amazing experience and a very special time away - the price was high and that would probably deter us from coming again.

Eleanor's Garden was a wonderful way to experience the Amalfi Coast. The manager is a local, and when shopkeepers heard where we were staying, we were offered tips, advice and sometimes discounts. The property itself is absolutely stunning, breakfast was delicious, the staff was amazing. Would stay here again and again and again. Buses and ferrys make it easy to explore all of the Amalfi Coast from Eleanor's Garden!
The parking in the garage was a little tight. That being said, at least we had parking and I'm Nimble enough to be able to climb out the passenger side.

The grounds are impeccably maintained, the area is gorgeous both inside and out, the rooms are spacious, and the view is spectacular.
Our jacuzzi worked well, the room service is good, the air conditioning worked well, and the accommodations are well maintained. The beds are comfortable.
The breakfast food is quite good. The breakfast area is an outside area with a beautiful view. Beauty all around. Unique.
The gardens are very nice. The surroundings are beautiful as well.
Numerous unfortunate inconveniences.
They have an elevator due to several flights of stairs at front door. Most of the time it does not work. When we arrived we had to carry our bags up the stairs with help from an employee. On the 4th day, we had bags of groceries when it would not work again, so we had to carry them up the stairs.
In the cottage itself, the fridge had no ice cube tray, nor is there any ice-maker in the establishment, nor ice to be found anywhere. The proprietor Martina confirmed this. The temperatures outside were 90F. The wine bottle opener was a basic hand-puller, the coffee maker a basic moka pot. No coffee grinds provided. The lawn chairs had metal bars underneath making them uncomfortable.
Eating breakfast was a challenge. There are wasps flying around the breakfast area. The wasps are quite large and very aggressive going after your food, making breakfast a real challenge.
On the first morning, after just a few minutes we had 6 large wasps swarming our table. It was impossible to keep them off our food. We were forced to carry our breakfast to our cottage to escape the wasps, a substantial walk carrying dishes and glasses with food and drink.
Soon after this first breakfast incident, the proprietor Martina arrived at our cottage asking for our payment, although it was the 1st day of a 5-day reservation. I am used to paying at the end of a stay, not the beginning.
On the 2nd day, the breakfast wasps were not a problem, but on the 3rd day, a couple of wasps were buzzing our table again. We did not flee, but it was a lot of effort keeping them off our food. On our final day, the other guests were battling the wasps as well. At our table, we managed to kill one with our portable mini-fan, a small triumph after battling them all week.
The garage and main entrance keys are confusing. We asked for instructions, none were given. Eventually you figure out which button to push for the garage and the correct keyhole at front door.

Amazing views, pictures can’t do them justice. Quietness, vegetable garden, our own jacuzzi on the roof… it’s a fantastic place. Be ready to climb some steps. Best to hire a scooter as there’s a garage. Martina was super helpful

Eleanor's Garden is truly idyllic.
Martina was really helpful prior to our arrival and during our stay. Arrival instructions and travel suggestions were given prior to arrival which made
planning our trip easy.
The minute we walked through the gates we were blown away with the gardens and the view.
Our cottage was fabulous, really spacious with everything you could need, including welcome refreshments. We had a really lovely large garden area plus a jacuzzi with an amazing views day or night.
There was a fabulous outside seating area and rear access to steps that lead you straight up to the town.
Ravello town is so quaint and picturesque. It was our favourite stop on our Amalfi journey and will definitely return again.
Martina and all the staff were so friendly and helpful.
We only wished we could of stayed for longer. It is probably one of the best places we have ever stayed.

I loved the privacy, the scenic ocean view, the scenic garden views, the way the outside space fed into the inside space, the strategic location to the main square and a great Pizzeria, and most importantly the fantastic host named Martina, who assisted us by buying groceries, planning transportation and giving us valuable local advice.
The internet speed needs to improve.

Beautiful view and garden, but ruined by terrible staff behavior. Near to Ravello, but you need to walk uphill for 10 min.
Be careful, if you need any support in the evening, it's not possible at all and you'll be scolded by the staff because you tried to search for the support.
During our 2 nights stay, there was no water on both night!! Imagine you cannot take a shower after a day in 30 degree and after the climbing up and down to the city.
This is not the worst part though, it's the staff's behavior completely ruined our stay. We followed the contact instructions provided, messaged the staff and there was 0 response. As guests we had no way of knowing if it was a hotel or municipal problem so we also tried to call. The next morning, instead of explaining calmly, the staff publicly scolded us at breakfast, claiming we should not have contacted her at all at 12:00. She said: "If there's a fire, call the police. If the AC breaks, open the window." She even compared us to another guest who paid more and didn't call - which is irrelevant and insulting, not to mention the other guest could have taken a shower already.
She admitted she saw the messages and calls but ignored them. A simply reply like "It's too late. I'll check in the morning" would have been totally enough for us. In the end we aplologized more to her than she ever did to us. She clearly has 0 training in customer care or she doesn't care at all.
It's a shame because the property itself is beautiful and it deserves to be managed better.

This is an amazing property for the location, amazing views and super comfortable apartment which has a private rear entrance to a laneway pathway up to Ravello's main square. The gardens are truly beautiful and it's very private, low key and quiet. The lift from the road is also handy for access. We really appreciated the care and support from Martine in general, but especially in retrieving our lost luggage. Great breakfast too. Our apartment had separate kitchen with cooking facilities, and a lounge area. We loved our pool and patio areas with the panoramic views of the mountains, Minori and sea.
We loved our stay but if we had to be picky, the lounge area could be improved with coffee table and another chair to create a more comfortable sitting environment inside. Our apartment was directly next door to the breakfast patio, but this was only utilised for a couple of hours in the morning but really wasn't an issue.

Staying here was a dream! The views at Eleanor’s Garden were incredible! The apartment I stayed in was beautiful and clean. I loved the proximity to the center of Ravello. Martina was an excellent host. She was quick to answer questions and very helpful in setting up my airport transfers. I would love to stay here next time I’m in Ravello!

Cannot rate this place highly enough. The property is beautiful with an incredible view. The rooms have privacy and character. Some nice touches like Prosecco and snacks waiting for us.
The breakfast was great, with fresh oranges off their trees. Martina and the team were friendly and helpful, giving recommendations and helping us arrange transport.
It’s a short uphill walk to ravello town and there is a nearby path that goes to the coast. The area was peaceful and we were happy walking home even in the dark.
The hotel tub was lovely and there were plenty of spots to sit and enjoy the view.
We couldn’t have wished for more during our stay in Ravello
Nothing, it was fabulous.

Views and ambiance are amazing. Perfect place to relax as it was very peaceful. The garden very well maintained and is a credit to them. Breakfast very very good. Just a shame the spa was closed and that we didn’t have a pool or jacuzzi
The advertised pictures are not very good, they don’t do the place justice. The spa was closed

This place is just so fantastic! Martina and Salvatore and the rest of the staff do an amazing job. Martina was very quick to respond to any questions we had before we came. Very helpful!
We are in our mid-seventies, and both in pretty good shape, so we figured we better do this trip while we can still do all those stairs! Like ALOT of stairs to get anywhere. You've been warned! But we just loved Eleanor's Garden (who wouldn't!!!). The view from our rooms (room with private pool) was nothing short of spectacular. Jaw Dropping. Our "pool" was really a large hot tub, which, believe me, saved us after all those stairs! Ravello is a beautiful small town away from all the hustle-bustle of Amalfi and Positano. We just took the ferry from Maori to those towns, and enjoyed the view of the coast line!
Wonderful breakfast in the mornings. Maid service everyday. We got our laundry done (we'd been in Italy for a week before Ravello) for 10 euros...great service. Like living in a postcard. Wonderful memories! We stayed for six nights and took advantage of day trips and activities.
Nothing...loved everything about it!

The view, the hot tub, the privacy, the staff, the location, the gardens
The lounge was a little sparcely furnished for such a large room, the bed was two singles pushed together which is never quite as comfortable, the breakfast was simple and fine but could easily be a bit better

The most picturesque location in ravello you can ever stay at. The proper with its plantation and the lemon groves is just special. the separate apartments are fully private and perfectly made with their own kitchenette and full facilities. Super easy to get to main square, sure has steps but that’s for sure, when you stay in ravello. Breakfast was fantastic, fresh cake daily, and set overlooking the sea.

Great location Martina was very accommodating! Beautiful little villa’s I would definitely recommend and stay again 10/10
Wish I would have booked a room with jacuzzi but that’s no one’s fault but my own

We absolutely loved our outstanding view of the Almafi coastline. It was first class. Even though Ravello has lots of visitors, The property makes you feelprivate and ppThe location was really close to the main square with many options for excellent local cuisine. Our villa with the small pool was fabulous. It was so nice to be able to come home and sip champagne overlooking the coastline. The rooms are large and have everything you need. Breakfast was yummy and plentiful each morning.
One of the major reasons we had such a wonderful experience at Eleanor’s Garden was because of Martina who oversees everything. She went over and beyond suggesting restaurants, making bookings for us, giving inside tips. She is a pleasure to deal with. A big thank you to you Martina🙏🙏
Another major bonus was having access to private parking which on the Almafi is golden.
We could not recommend staying here highly enough. It was a pleasure from beginning to the end.
Nothing not to like

Amazing views and wonderful space around our cottage. The private and tranquil garden was beautifully kept. Lemon trees and a pond lined the walk between our cottage and breakfast. Friendly and very helpful staff team. Good range of tasty food at breakfast. We had a wonderful few days here. Kids loved the hot-tub (and TV) especially. WiFi decent (better outside). Didn't use the small gym area (too hot). Not far from centre of Ravello - 5-10 min walk up steps.
Kitchen could have done with a vegetable peeler or smaller sharp knife and maybe a dryer rack or something to hang wet towels on.

Amazing view. Set in beautiful garden. We stayed in the tower suite and it was ... Great location. Good breakfast. Martina was very helpful.
TV upstairs had very bad connection. Wifi was poor in and around our tower. Rooftop pool was too hot to use due to the sun. Would be amazing in spring or autumn I imagine!

Absolutely beautiful and exceptional property. Outside our room we had a seaview and a private terrace all to ourselves. We also had a private access door which leads you to the stairs that go up to the main square of Ravello.
The staff were so kind and lovely. They made the most delicious breakfast for us and provided a daily cleaning service. Martina helped us with transport around Ravello, and organised a taxi service for us to get to our next stop.

Eleanor's Garden was an absolutely stunning slice of heaven! The views were magical, breakfast every morning was delicious and the cappuccinos made for us were a very special touch. Martina our host always went above and beyond and helped us set-up a driver to and from the airport, taxis during stay, Vespa rentals, as well as dinner reservations and anything else you could think of. She was always happily available to help if we needed. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay at Eleanor's Garden in Ravello and I cannot wait to stay there again!
