A dream experience!

The staff were as incredible and warm as the hotel itself. A paradise away from home. The care in our room every day and night and the help for planning experiences during our stay, the warmth - professionalism - service, quality of food (lunch and dinner), everything was incredible. Truly. 10/10.

Best hotel experience ever. It’s the thing I miss most from our Italy trip.

This hotel is exceptional! The food, the views, the staff, and the details of the property were incredible. The pool and lounge area felt quiet and relaxing. The staff waits on you hand and foot. The Michelin star restaurant on the property was delicious, and they make it a whole experience. The location is ideal because you are walking distance to the town square. Ravello in general is a hidden gem, not too touristy, which I loved, and not too crowded. I loved every minute of it!

We booked the most basic room since the property is quite expensive. The room was nothing special but the bed was very comfortable and the amenities in the bathroom had everything you would need. The directions to the hotel are confusing if you are driving. Just call the front desk and they will help.

THE WORST, just go to Miramalfi

Disappointing

Disappointing. The reception discriminates customers of how long day stay. Also has the audacity to mention that mountain view doesnt mean full view of mountains, and if you have a glimpse of it its done even though I payed 1200dollars for 1night with mountain view room, which had the view of the wall building in front. I decided to go to Palazzo Avino because of the nice reviews and appealing pink theme. Before, I stayed in Miramalfi and I regret I budged my schedule in the middle to come to this place for nothing but disappointment. First, I booked ‘Mountain View’ room, reason is because as mentioned I stayed in Miramalfi that has beautiful upfront sea views and I love Italy mountain views so I decided to make a twist. However they first gave me room 318 which when you look at both the windows the view is blocked from the building in front. When I entered the room it was prepared for another person with handwriting welcome letter prepared, they reception said it was the room that was ready since we arrived early. I requested for a room change, it wasnt partial mountain view that I booked for around 1200 dollars. What the reception replied was “JUST BECAUSE YOU BOOKED MOUNTAIN VIEW DOESNT MEAB YOU GET THE WHOLE VIEW OF THE “. I was flabbergasted and annoyed as hell. I jumped in and said that the room was already prepared for somebody else, it’s okay if we have to wait but I want a room at least that is blocked with the building infront. i mean the only room that is blocked view with a building. The view was “a wall”. Are you kidding me? Also the room phone did not work so we had to go up and down to the front to talk to you every single time. the recpetion said they will check again and change our room. They changed our room and we noticed the hair dryers are different, room 318 has a normal hair dryer while the changed room has a dyson. The slippers of room 318 are just normal colored ones as the room they changed has their hotel signature pink striped slippers.

Everything. The kind, thoughtful, attentive staff were incredible. The sun loungers were lovely. Food and breakfast amazing. Not to mention the view!

Minor detail, but if i were to find something to complain about it would be the minimal soundproofing between rooms.

EVERYTHING about this hotel was spectacular--the room, the view, the grounds, the service, the pool and the breakfast! It's on the pricey side but worth it (and you can save money on food by eating off-site for lunch and dinner).

bedroom tiny, no place to put our clothes, bags, or toiletries. bed uncomfortable. last night they allowed a wedding to be held in the open air restaurant keeping up up until midnight with music blasting into our room. Unacceptable from a 5 star hotel and at this price point.

They have weddings that take over half the hotel. There were 2 during our 3 day trip. We could not use the restaurant. The weddings were loud. Loud music and people shouting and we had our windows closed. We did move rooms. We couldn't enjoy drinks at the bar as the music from the wedding was do loud. Ruined the romantic trip we expected in the mountains. Quite disappointed we were allowed to book when there were weddings on. Make sure to ask if there will be weddings on during your stay. August and September is wedding season in Ravello so be careful.

Amazing property in charming Ravello. Beautiful views, impeccably maintained, up to date furnishings. Great staff, great food. Beach club very nice.

The eastward orientation means the sun sets very early here. Lots of weddings means some parts of the property (and staff) not available starting in late afternoon (and noisy late). Some rooms just too small. Beach club access too limited - 8 people at a time, hourly.
