The view from the balcony
The rooms are under the restaurant so you hear noise until 10pm and the breakfast is continental breakfast as kitchen is not open in the morning

Location is unbeatable right by ravello main area and by the taxi base where you can take a bus or taxi to go to Amalfi. Great value for the money. If you drive they have a great parking solution, convenient, safe and right at the door steps for only 25 euros a day. Going to Amalfi is very convenient just take a semi-private transport for 10 euros or the bus for 2dlls … best way to save money and still be close to see main areas of Amalfi .. from Amalfi you can take the ferry to go to the other islands and is convenient.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Da Salvatore. Our host, Cesare, is a treasure. The view was spectacular, the location was close to everything, but also far enough away from the busy city center, the breakfast was delicious and I can’t even begin describe the view from our room. Everything was perfect!

The property was gorgeous, comfortable, and the views were unmatched. Its convenience to the Piazza was a huge bonus.
No complaints whatsoever.

I booked this hotel based upon the reviews I saw on booking.com and google. I can without doubt say this place met all expectations. Firstly, Cesare our host was unbelievably friendly and his local knowledge is excellent. Cesare made us feel welcome and his interaction with each guest is amazing. The location in Ravello is very convenient as the hotel is located right outside of the bus stop that runs from Amalfi and Scala.
The highlight of this stay is the exceptional views of the Amalfi Coast. This is without doubt the best view from a hotel I have ever had. Furthermore, the room amenities (including mini-fridge and bathroom facilities) were fantastic.

The property is in an idyllic spot! Right off the bus stop you walk down a lovely stairwell to the reception area where our friendly host greeted us and allowed us to leave our suitcases until an early check-in around 12:30 pm. On entering our room the patio view was breathtaking and we thoroughly enjoyed that for our 3-day stay! This family run business is superb, from the tasteful decor to the homemade bread to die for and lovely free breakfasts, including fresh fruit, homemade pastries, & yogurt & delicious capaccino! This place exceeded our expectations & the environment and true Italian hospitality & experience will be unforgettable. Brothers running the place from the father’s start makes it very special with traditional and pride! You won’t be disappointed.
Nothing.

The most stunning balcony view! Honestly this was so fabulous - a great spot to sit and read or watch the world go by. VERY well located by the bus stop up from Amalfi as well as the main town. Cesare was so friendly and had many interesting stories to share. You'll have a fab stay if you come here!
Nothing! A perfect stay.

The property is perched high on a cliff overlooking the Amalfi coast. The location does not get any better. The property was clean, quiet, spacious, and each apartment has amazing private balcony as pictured. It also has two amazing restaurants, and you walk through a tunnel which takes less than a minute, and you are in the centre Square of Ravello. It’s a small boutique hotel, run by three brothers who are passionate about providing good food and quality accommodation for guests. We had a delicious breakfast each morning overlooking the incredible view and felt we were in incredibly good hands, with generous and hospitable staff who shared local information. We would not hesitate well to stay here again, if we are lucky enough to visit Ravello.
Everything was great.

The view will stay with you forever - it's just magical. The host is also incredibly helpful and passionate about making sure his guests enjoy the legacy of his family's property, and the history/culture of Ravello. Our room was ready a few hours early and we could check-in and leave our luggage, leaving us able to freely explore the town. We were also able to leave our luggage for a few hours after checkout which was really handy.
The accommodation is straight under the main town bus stop and taxi rank, but without crowds or noise impacting our stay - absolutely ideal central location for exploring Ravello.
The air conditioning didn't work very well during our stay and the bar fridge only kept drinks slightly cooled. When it was so incredibly hot, it would have been more comfortable to return to a cooler room and drinks. The lovely restaurant upstairs helpfully provided an ice bucket and some ice to cool down our drinks to enjoy on that wonderful terrace overlooking the coast.

The view from balcony was stunning!
The pictures on booking.com actually undersell the room itself, it’s much nicer.
Good size room, very clean, good selection of toiletries.
Hair dryer, iron available at reception.
Delicious pizzeria within the hotel.
The hosts are super friendly and helpful!
Location is very convenient, minutes walk to downtown.
Parking available nearby (€25 per day) with a shuttle to/from hotel.
Nothing comes to mind.

Our host, Cesare, was very welcoming and kind. We felt the warmth of Neapolitan hospitality, and enjoyed our stay and the beautiful views very much. The food in restaurant is really tasty.

The owner Cesar was waiting for us when we arrived and gave us a very warm and personal welcome, taking our bags to the room. The room had an un beatable ocean and Mountain View looking East along the Amalfi coast road. We had a nice meal one evening in the Salvatore restaurant. The hotel is very close to the main town square.
Room was basic and functional but a little dark. That would probably be good in full summer to keep the heat down however. The balcony was spacious however with a killer view!!!

The best location in Ravello and with stunning view from your room and from the restaurant. Cesare is a helpful host. The room is simple but very clean, perfect for a few days stay. If you come by car, be prepared that parking is quite pricey in Ravello (€24 for 1 day) but the town is definitely worth visiting and staying for a few nights at Salvatore B&B.
No such thing

There is a restaurant on top of our room - this was somehow noisy with chairs and people moving around.

Me and my husband booked the Salvatore BnB for our honeymoon and wow was it the best decision we made in our time in the Almafi Coast. First of all the view was BEAUTIFUL and the balcony was so spacious - I loved waking up and grabbing my book to read out there with the view. It is so centrally located that the bus stop is right on the corner and easy to get to the other towns. If you are up for a challenge you could walk to Almafi but please known that stairs will be there every step of the way haha. Ravelo itself was so beautiful, and quiet very different from the rest of the Almafi coast which we welcomed and very much enjoyed. The staff was 10/10 the owner was always so kind and so helpful answering any questions we had with a huge smile. The breakfast was super yummy and filling - it is an Italian breakfast but honestly was more than enough in my opinion. I also loved all the extra fruits it would bring and the daily cappuccino delicious! It is a short walk to both of the villas in Ravelo and also great hub for the nature side of the Almafi Coast truly loved our stay and recommend staying here instead of the more populated areas in the Almafi Coast and just doing day trips there. (oh on top of the breakfast the Salavtore BnB has 2 restaurants and we visited both! One was a pizzeria and the other a full service restaurant both of our meals exceeded our expectations absolutely delicious, so after a long day of exploring you did not have to go far at all to have exceptional food!

The views everywhere (our room, the restaurant, and breakfast room) in the hotel were just breathtaking. Wonderful staff, and they were very friendly and welcoming. Cesare made sure we were all settled. The homemade breakfast cornetti were warm from the oven and absolutely delicious. 💯 A highly recommended stay!!!!

Disappointed that the restaurant part of the property was booked out the night we stayed

The view was breathtaking and amazing. Just as the pictures showed. The room was clean and the size was perfect. The beds were comfortable. The washroom was clean and the shower was great. There is a bus right outside the door and its great to get to amalfi which is a 15 min drive down. The parking does not belong to them and you have to park a bit away ... they say 100m but its more like 400-500 m and you will have to make your way uphill. All that being said, if i could stay there again and longer I would.
The location of the parking.

It was exceptional!!
Expectional views.
Excellent location.
Best spot to visit Ravello.
We had a memorable time!!
The only problem we had is the parking. We had to guess where to pay and we had to walk. We were a bit lost. It should be clarified by the staff in advance.
Other than this, everything was excellent!! We had a memorable time!! Highly recommend!

Perfect location - right next to the bus and taxi stand. The view from the room/balcony is the best you get in Ravello. Freshly prepared home baked pastries served in breakfast. The host made us feel at home, gave great recommendations.
Soundproofing of the rooms

The view is beautiful, but not worth it
Our recent stay at Da Salvatore was nothing short of awful. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this hotel lacked basic hospitality and respect for its guests. The staff's behavior was consistently rude and unwelcoming, leaving a bitter taste in our mouths (except for breakfast, where the people serving were incredibly hospitable and nice! Please teach that to your lunch/evening staff).
First and foremost, the walls of the hotel were paper-thin, allowing every noise from neighboring rooms and the restaurant to infiltrate our sleepless nights. It seemed like there was a constant parade of noise, preventing us from getting even a moment of peaceful rest. The lack of soundproofing was incredibly frustrating and made our stay utterly unbearable.
On one occasion, after a long and exhausting walk, we decided to stop by the hotel's bar for a much-needed cocktail. However, to our disbelief, the staff refused to serve us simply because we did not wish to eat at that moment. This policy is utterly ridiculous. As paying guests, we should have the freedom to enjoy a beverage of our choice, whether it's during lunch or in the comfort of our own room. This incident exemplifies the hotel's complete disregard for customer satisfaction. Additionally, what caught our attention was the poor parrot confined to a cage all day long. We don't support this and hated the fact the they had this on the property.
The rude staff, the constant noise, the overpriced food, and the mistreatment of animals all contributed to an utterly miserable stay. I strongly advise against choosing this hotel unless you enjoy sleepless nights and feeling disrespected. Save yourself the headache and find a more welcoming place.
