If I ever go back, this is where I will stay.

I liked everything about it. The best thing for me was the location to the town square which made it possible for me to get around. My friends stayed in a hotel farther down the hillside and had 182 steps to climb. It would have been impossible for me to stay there. I have asthma and have had a bilateral knee replacement. I would never been able to stay there, Gelsomino's is right around the corner from the town square which made it possible for me to walk to the shops and restaurants. The host and staff were great.!!

This has been our favourite place in all respects on our whole tour

We loved everything! Room, bathroom, furnishings, garden, breakfast, location, - all excellent. Staff very pleasant, Jerardo an excellent host, great communication, efficient checkin, a warm welcome.

There was nothing to detract from our stay. We would have loved a kettle & mugs in the room - but hey that’s our UK habit and we’re travelling in Italy so we can adapt!

A good place to stay

We loved the neighbourhood the courtyard and the host. The rooms were rather small but comfortable and clean. We especially enjoyed the silence at night. The breakfast was basic but acceptable. The owner helped us with the parking place, 5 minutes from the property. Ravello is a fantastic place .

B&B with 5 star service and facilities - absolutely must stay!

The owner Geraldo is the reason why we love coming to Italy for holiday... He's extremely kind, with a big heart, always helpful, always accommodating, and always looks out for his client's interest - taking the trouble to find information for us. If you want a top five-star hotel facilities, in a seven star magical location like Ravello - stay with Geraldo. Excellent value for your money. Excellent generous breakfast, almost industry standard coffee machine, and owner speaks excellent English. Excellent location, no stairs to walk up, easy to access and just next to the main Square. Owner even sent us photos of the B&B to make it easier to find the location. A truly dream owner that you could meet on a vacation. We will come back in a heartbeat anytime and stay in this B&B. The experience here gives you the perfect vacation in Southern Italy.

well priced, central, comfortable rooms on a budget.

Excellent location close to main square, church and Hotel Giordano where our bride and groom were staying. Secure rooms with window shutters to block out light and noise. Good size rooms with fridge, very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean ensuite. Breakfast was the usual, cereal, fresh fruit, cheese, ham, yogurts and croissants etc. There are no views from these rooms. Accommodating and responsive host when we asked for an earlier breakfast. Good value for money

The location, right in the heart of Ravello. This is the second time I have stayed at Gelsomino rooms and I'd definitely stay a third time.

Perfect accommodation

Everything was great from the beginning and the owner was very helpful, accommodating to our needs and gave us the best recommendations for places to eat. He waited for us to arrive even though we ran a bit late. The hotel is located super close to everything you need, Cimbrone and Rufolo Villas, main square, souvenir shops, minimarket shop and bus station. The place has a lovely garden and the room was very comfortable. The lady from the breakfast was really nice and kind as well. We really enjoyed our stay and we wish we could have stayed longer. But we will definitely come back and book the same hotel. 😊

Exceptional

We loved our stay at this bed and breakfast. The location is right in the heart of Ravello with plenty of amazing restaurants right next door. The staff were very helpful even went above and beyond by doing a load of washing for us for no extra cost! We were very thankful as it can be hard to find a laundromat when traveling.

I would recommend for anyone not needing a front desk.

I got the best sleep of my vacation on this bed. The location was perfect for my needs of staying near the bride and wedding venue while being significantly cheaper than other options. It had a fridge and included breakfast and the wifi worked well enough for my needs. There was a nice garden space for lounging outside.

I didn't realize it wasn't going to be staffed aside from cleaners. Checkin meant I had to call a number before getting access. Checkout was unclear, but smooth once I saw a cleaner. The room smelled a little weird, but not atypical for traveling.

Excellent price-performance ratio

Gerardo was a fantastic host and gave us many good tips and recommendations. The location is in the center of Ravello, 1-2 min walk to the main square and Villa Ruffolo, plus many restaurants and shops nearby. Our room was spacious and equipped with all the necessities. We enjoyed our stay here very much and can only recommend the accommodation.

Well located in the center! Ten minutes walk to the Villa Cimbrone Gardens. We traveled by car to Amalfi (30min) and to Positano (1h driving) for day trips. Parking is 5 min walking from the house.

A magical place in a captivating town

The host was lovely and helped us throughout our stay. From places to eat (at Christmas time there were almost no places to eat...), the nearest parking lot, a pharmacy, to allowing us a late check-out without monetary compensation. The location is adjacent to the main square of the town but still quiet. The rooms were spacious and clean. We will go back there for sure.

Our room was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was gorgeous and the location was quiet and perfect. Unfortunately it had rained and the outdoor furniture was wet so we didn’t get to sit outside. The host provided wine glasses for us which we were grateful for.

The shower water was warm and could have been much hotter.
