Palazzo Della Marra

We absolutely LOVED the historic building that this B&B is located in. It has so much character and is genuinely stunning! We stayed in the Attico/Attic room and enjoyed the space a lot. The rooftop terrace was far and above our favourite part, it’s a lovely place to sit and bring your breakfast, sit with a drink etc. and take in the view of the Ravello piazza and hillsides. The location is perfect, and very central. We walked all over and never felt like we were staying far out of the way or had an inconvenient walk to get back. We enjoyed having the option of the breakfast bar and shared kitchenette. The pastries were always great, and it was lovely that we could borrow a couple wine glasses for a drink on the rooftop! The host is absolutely lovely. He recognized and greeted us anytime we ran into him around town, and was an absolute pleasure. We really appreciated how much he knew about the building and was able to tell us on our tour up to the rooftop at check-in!

As it is a very old historic building, the plumbing isn’t perfect, but that’s entirely understandable. The water pump does make a pretty loud noise when you use it, and I was always nervous to use any water at night in case I woke up the neighbours 😅

Gerado is a fantastic host with helpful suggestions of places to eat and visit. We loved the central location with a view from our room to the square and down the valley. The roof top terrace is a bonus!!

Great location for Ravello, lovely owner who was very helpful with parking. Would go again if in Ravello

It was clean, which is very important. The rooms are in an old tower which is cool but not enough.

The facilities are too basic, not well maintained and overpriced for what you get. The breakfast was also very basic. As for the parking, they asked me to leave them the key so they can move around the car to put more cars in and out.
