The view and the city but the property is so overrated. Full of tourists, service crap

Excellent hotel in an amazing location with unbeatable view and attentive staff.

Excellent choices for breakfast. The breakfast is served on a terrace overlooking the Amalfi coast. The location of the hotel is very unique, in the corner of a beautifully manicured old garden perched over the cliff over the Amalfi coast . Absolutely stunning views from all corner of the hotel.

Minor issue- the quality of the cocktails in the pool side bar might need to be revised and improved- we did not feel it was matching the otherwise very high standard’s of the hotel and its restaurants.

One of the best places i've stayed, the food, gardens and sea views are all magical.

The views are absolutely stunning and the building and gardens are full of traditional old school Italian charm, the food and selection of wines was amazing, living up to it's Michelin recommendation. Some reviewers had mentioned the 10m walk to the hotel from the town of Ravello, we found this to be a very pleasant experience, a lovely walk through Ravello after lunch. There was a wedding on while we there, but this just added to the charm in our opinion.

Nothing really, I will definitely stay here again and for longer, the only issue is how busy and tight the Amalfi coastal road is, but that's nothing to do with the hotel.

The hotel is in a beautiful position abovde the town but a little inaccessible to get there. It did not qualify as a 5*

Breakfast was very good and the staff very helpful. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The garden next door was beautiful and stunning views.

Swimming pool too cold Not comfortable bar area and disappointing snack food Expensive resturant and food not Michelin star standard. The hotel should have an additional restaurant for lunches and dinners. Guests should be warned ghey have to walk uphill to reach the hotel No drink service at the pool

The rooms are situated in a beautiful villa, surrounded by beautiful garden. we were upgraded to a larger room.the bed is comfotable, they give special emneties , specially made in the villa.it is quit area in the beautiful Ravello. i highly recommend this place.

IT WAS A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT

The view, the garden & the Michelin star restaurant

Breakfast was poor and disgusting, most of the items like cheese, ham & cakes are not fresh. Dinner at their restaurant was very very bad my wife couldn’t eat her grilled fish platter because the fish was not fresh and even smelled bad (of course I’m not talking here about the Michelin star restaurant) Jasmine at the reception was rude and not helpful at all, while Maria Grazia was so friendly and professional. Staying at this hotel is not recommended, you can pay 10 euros to visit the garden and enjoy the view.

Excellent location with the famous Villa Cimbrone gardens as a part of our property. easy 6 minute walk to Ravello centre and also Villa Rufolo. The staff were amazing and our room was upgraded without a request. We had incredible views of the sea as well the pool. The whole experience was soo relaxing and perfect to get away from the busy areas of the Amalfi coast. Also had the best penne arabiatta in South of Italy!

The breakfast was good.

The room was expensive and was very, very small, located above the paid entrance to the gardens on one side, and the other side was overlooking a small courtyard that acted like an echo chamber, so very noisy in the morning and impossible to sleep in.

Absolutely Beautiful but they can make improvements that will leave guests feeling happier

Ravello its self is beautiful and the estate the villa sits on is lovely. The views are some of the best you could find in Italy. The pool is nice and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Certain staff members were very nice.

Some of the staff were not great or attentive. The manager/owner was pretty rude when we were checking out as there was a problem with their bank. He either doesn't speak any English or pretended not to. But not a good attitude, it was almost like it was our pleasure to be there and he isn't bothered if you come back or not. Hotel charges you for extras all over the place. the hotel is a 10 minute walk up a long set of steps, they charge you 5 euros per bag to come and shuttle them to the hotel. They wont take any passengers in the shuttle either however old you are. We had 2 large bags and 2 hand luggage, so 20 euros. They charge you 10 euros to borrow an adapter. 15 euros every time you have room service so 30 euros for a cup of tea. The pool shuts at 6pm. Bad showers in the room.
