Not as expected experience.

The view.

The communication is not great. The gate entrance is not clear even we asked before heading to the hotel, the address is personal private parking garage, we asked several locals, finally find the gate. It's very difficult to drive on the single track with two way traffic. The shuttle bus is not as expected, the front desk is not checking the reservation list for shuttle bus, and told us to show up at 9 o'clock, then they find someone else that was already had reservation, then looking for shuttle bus driver for at least 20 minutes. We asked for our 2 room nearby, but we have to take elevator to go to each other's room. The elevator floor button is not match to the room number, very confusing.

Great place to stay,

We had a fantastic view from our room at the Villa Piedmonte overlooking the mountains, ocean and the town of Minori. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk to the town square of Ravello, they also offered a complimentary private car service to and from the town square entrance which was big bonus, they provide an excellent breakfast featuring a wide variety of hot foods, fresh fruit, Italian meats, cheeses, juices, bread and pastries. The staff was fantastic, they are very attentive to their guests, I would highly recommend the Villa Piedimonte if you are planning to stay in Ravello.

The view was beautiful, the hotel and rooms were clean and calm, and the service was excellent..

The laundry service could be improved. It was expensive, but the clothes still had some dirt on them.

Would stay here again!

Great views from the room and the pool area. The breakfast had a good variety of tasty options like scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, assorted pastries, fresh squeezed juices, yogurt, etc.

It's a bit of a walk to the town square (we counted 182 stairs), but it's good exercise and there's a free shuttle from the hotel any time you like. Most of the restaurants and shops are just off the square. There's really nothing right near the hotel.

Everything! We had the most wonderful night in Positano staying here. The location of the hotel is excellent and all the staff were so helpful and friendly. Breakfast on the balcony was a lovely touch.

Spectacular views - superbly located and wonderful people - we would definitely come back

The location was ideal - a short walk ( about 60 steps up) to the centre of Ravello, the staff were wonderful and of course the view is just unbelievable For those who drive ( hopefully a very small) EV here - the onsite EV charger was fast enough to get a full charge in a few hours - and there are plenty of carparking spaces - a rarity on the Amalfi coast

Beautiful property. Great place to stay

The location and setting are exceptional. The rooms and bathrooms were great with super views of the sea and bay below. The sound insulation of the rooms was great. We were provided with a shuttle service to the city center whenever we needed it.

Nothing major. Stairs and walkways need sweeping more often to prevent flowers and leaves from sticking to your shoes and you dragging them into the room with you. But really it is a minor issue.

Breakfast buffet was great! Lots of options and great views. Rooms were clean and pool had an amazing view. Had no issues at all during our stay. Staff extremely helpful.

A very modern and clean hotel in an excellent location close to Amalfi towns and coast.

View amazing. Excellent Location. Clean and modern decor. Comfortable beds. Breakfast good. Room spacious. Huge terrace (we were in room 701).

The basins in the bathroom. The tap spout is right in the middle of the basin making it impossible to wash your face without hitting your head or hands on it. Our room could have done with hall table/surface to put things on - a bit minimal. Lack of information in the room folder. It would have been helpful to have breakfast times, hotel bistro meal times/menu, a simple map showing the hotel in relation to Ravello centre, timings of the shuttle to the centre etc. The front gate was a bit of a fiddle, needs better instructions - preferably in the information booklet in the room. Lack of an indoor hotel bar/lounge although the proximity to Ravello centre probably means that most guests go out for drinks.

A nice hotel in a good location - 3 stars probably more accurate

Excellent location and breathtaking views. Shuttle service to the top of the hill is really handy in the evening before going out for dinner and our room was large and felt like it was abit of luxury.

Lots of staff but all seem to be busy doing other things rather than tending to guests, took a long time to get any attention at the pool. Breakfast is ok and fit for purpose but isnt anything special. it is comparable to a premier inn in the UK.

Superb for special occasion.

Great location with world class views over the bay of Salerno. Decor and layout were very stylish. Nice pool and poolside with fantastic views. Located close to an atmospheric town and square. Amalfi port nearby via short bus ride (often crowded but frequent and €3) or coach at €16 return. Amalfi itself is an interesting and beautiful town with ferries and buses to most other towns on the coast. Steep incline up to town but VP offered a free shuttle. Service and housekeeping excellent. Breakfast good and in a nice, good sized room. Don’t miss wonderful gardens at the end of the promentary. Fantastic for special holiday.

Minor niggle: there is no restaurant as such. BUT you could order from a reasonable menu to be served in breakfast room or room service (with great views from balconies) at reasonable prices. Food tasted good and was freshly prepared and with good service. Loads of restraunt in nearby town center.

Great Ravello Hotel - Close to City Center

We loved the location and views of this hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean. They upgraded us to be in a room closer to our other family members staying there. The room had a large nice bed in the bedroom with pullout sofa bed in the sitting area. The bathrooms were large and clean. The grounds were stunning with all the fresh flowers and lemon trees. Breakfast was lovely every morning, big spread with something for everyone. Finally the pool was a highlight for us, being so high up and the summer heat beating down, it was lovely to cool off poolside and have some cocktails.

The “going green” products were nice, however flimsy. When staying in a 4-star hotel, I tend to expect nicer quality soaps and lotions.

Slightly off the beaten path. Definitely have to do a good amount of hiking to get to the main square in Ravello.

A beautiful hotel with stunning views - great value for money!

Loved the hotel and the incredible views from our suite and the breakfast room. It's a short (but tough/steep) walk to the town centre, and the room we stayed in (202) was spacious and comfortable. We especially appreciated the breakfast bags provided to us on our early departure, and the hotel car that brought us to our dinner reservations nearby, and came to fetch us during an unexpected downpour!

The view of the empty swimming pool next to the room wasn't ideal, though it seemed like it would be renovated soon. Also, we were woken up most mornings by several dogs barking loudly next door.

Excellent location to enjoy Ravello

Wonderful stay, breathtaking view, well equipped rooms and great staff. We got room service and we were surprised how good the food was. The best place we've been to in the region, it was peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast was also excellent, with good variety and we could enjoy it in front of the sunny Ravello coast landscape.
