Fantastic views during day and night breakfast on the balcony were sensational walking distance to the small village I would say 15 mins tops. But no matter where you go in Amalfi it’s up and down and many many stairs so you need to be fit as you will be dragging suitcases

It was such a great view, great service, and overall I'd go again.

The check in instructions were extremely helpful and she even sent a video showing us how to exactly get to our room. We were late to check in and they were so responsive via whatsapp and accommodating. Even while we stayed there the cleaned the room to perfection and the views were amazing at the property. We even made a last minute request to have the breakfast in bed early one morning to accomodate our travel plans and they were so friendly and willing to change the time, it really made the difference for us to meet our other travel plans. This property and staff were top tier. Highly recommend.

We got there and it was cold weather as it was the fall, maybe if they heater was already running would be the only suggestion. But we got it on quickly when we arrived and it warmed up the room pretty quickly.

Nonstop views, views, views!

THE VIEWS!!!! Delightful friendly staff. Ornella was always so helpful and spoke great English and was patient with our speaking Italian! Claudia was so sweet at breakfast as well. Maria in the office gave helpful information. The location is perfectly located at the base of the steps to walk up to the central square. The property is sensational and the view from the room and the patio made every minute breathtaking! The rooms and bathroom and soundproof windows with black out shutters were perfect and significantly exceeded the images on the website! We would definitely come back.

It would be helpful to have some instructions available regarding emergency or who to contact after hours. The checking process was smooth but she was a bit hard to understand. (Minor point)

Amazing location with a view over the sea and the coastline for a very reasonable price compared to similar properties with a view like this that are still walkable to town. The staff were lovely and helpful and the breakfast on the sun terrace was excellent.

Lots of stairs! I knew this booking the property and stairs are pretty much a given in Ravello. It’s 180 stairs down to the villa from the main square so could be tricky if you aren’t arriving by car and have luggage.

Reasonably priced, comfortable stay near Ravello

The terrace is nice and the rooms are nicely renovated.

Property is 200 steps up from Ravello, Staff seemed to be fearful to make any decisions without calling the main office where ever that is. The staff didn't talk to each other so we had to double pay for drivers because one staff member thought the other didn't book them, but they both did.

Greatest accomodation spot

Incredible views, lovely staff so kind and helpful and all-round great service and accommodation. Breakfast was 10/10, nicest food, serviced by lovely staff, each morning woke up to a beautiful view on the terrace.

Lots of stairs, unfortunately this is quite common across Ravello, not just this accomodation.

Super charming family run hotel with breathtaking views

The staff is so friendly and forthcoming, they made us feel so welcome and our stay very special. The property is just a couple of years old, and renovated in a charming, premium style.

The parking space is - understandably - limited so tip is to rent a small car (but that’s a valid recommendation for the Amalfi coast in general)

Amazing views, steps from Villa Ruffalo (many steps!), and wonderful fresh breakfast on the terrace.

Breakfast was wonderful on the terrace overlooking the Amalfi Coast towns of Minori and Maiori. These two towns are much better than Amalfi since the tourist crowds typically skip them. Amazing view from our window, but we didn't realize there were shutters - those would have helped because the morning light started pouring in early. Parking was fine since I had a FIAT 500, but would have been hard for bigger cars. The steps up to Villa Ruffalo were quite many, so be prepared, but they are literally right across the street from the gate. Learn how to use the transport Locale van - it's 1.50 EURO, but the drive is amazing! We tipped an extra 5 EURO since it was so entertaining.

Wasps/hornets on the terrace make breakfast a bit scary. I wish there was something to do for those, but it's hard all around Europe there are these pests since they don't use pesticides. The tiles in the rooms with the stripes may give some residents headaches as they are so perfect.

Property is in an excellent location… Just stares away from about everything. A 10 minute walk to the city center.

The Wi-Fi was poor. Also, we had to pay €25, per person, to use the pool next-door to the hotel property. This wasn’t horrible… However, it would’ve been nice to have had pool privileges included.

Perfect accommodation in Ravello

This B&B is located about a 10 minute walk from the center of Rivello. The staff were very helpful and provided us with breakfast in our room as we were leaving early that morning. We also advised them of our 10am arrival and were thrilled that our room was ready when we got there. We stayed just one night in Ravello and wished we had more. Give yourself at least two nights in that beautiful city!

Amazing bit of paradise

Ravelllo is the perfect location to setup a base when touring the Amilfi coast. We rented a scooter and used that to get into town. Left the car at the accommodation and went everywhere by scooter. Amazing trip!

Great B&B stunningly located on this fairytale part of the Amalfi

Gala which has great parking availability, has the most fabulous views overlooking the bay of Maiori and out to the Mediterranean. Our welcome was very friendly full of helpful advice. The rooms are fresh and clean with a lovely sparking feel. Crisp white cotton, with just the right amount of striking blue as a contrast, is a pleasing combo in the furnishings and the bathroom has all the accessories. The breakfast served on the pretty terrace, with such a stunning view, was beautifully served and presented and delicious. The general area with neighbouring others bnb’s is very friendly. There was a separate complex with a beautiful swimming pool with sun beds and umbrellas which one could pay €20 for entry. During the day snacks and drinks are available to purchase. Be aware that Gala does not provide service out of the Bed and Breakfast arrangement. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby.

Be aware this property, like all others in the area, is perched on a steep hillside edge and access up to the main Piazza in the centre of Ravello is either climbing up 180 steep steps, bear in mind the daytime temperature here in the summer, or walking up a steep road. However there is a local minibus which comes by at quarter past the hour every hour which for €1.50 will take you up the hill and drop you by the Piazza. It’s truly worth it. I dislike nothing about Gala Residence.

Don’t stay if you want a good nights sleep

We paid £250 per night for what was meant to be the very best room only to be put in a tiny room, the manager of the hotel was rude , ten emergency lighting came on and off constantly in our room all night and we got no sleep whatsoever , he never offered any compensation at all, he said it wasn’t the hotels problem. The steps to get to Ravello take over 30 mins , I would never stay at this hotel again and wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here.

The hotel manager was downright rude , he offered no compensation to getting no sleep, the hotel is so far from Ravello and it’s was very much overpriced.

Wonderful stay with mesmerising views - won’t hesitate to return!

Lovely room, views are unbelievable from the rooms and the terrace. The option to access the pool next door for a daily fee was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was generous - fruit and juices were particularly enjoyable.

Parking is tight - but we were glad we arranged a small car and had off street parking as it’s at a premium in the Amalfi area

An exceptional view. Clean rooms. Wide bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Compliments.Individual contact with the client and options for activities - boat tour on the Amalfi Coast. Quick assistance with a dinner reservation at a nice restaurant. A fabulous experience!

The staff at breakfast was chaotic. Serves croissants, after 15 min espresso. And finally, after about half an hour - scrambled eggs. Breakfast is ordered from the evening, which implies clarity, speed and logical sequence in serving.

Excellent place to stay. Firstly, communication was excellent through the app, asking if we needed anything beforehand. On arrival, there was a gate and when it was locked I called the number and someone came to greet us. The staff were all very friendly and could not do enough for us. The views were stunning, very beautiful and mostly quiet. The room was very well furnished and the bed very comfortable. It was a short hike up the stairs to the centre of the Ravello, but quite easy to navigate. A little tiring, especially with suitcases on arrival but we found another route too. It would be ideal to have a car. Breakfast was served on our patio area (due to the heavy rain). We could chose from a list the day before. The croissants were huge! Freshly squeeded orange juice and eggs cooked to our liking. Despute heavy rain, this did not dampen our enjoyment of this beautiful little hide-away in Ravello.

There was some very noisy building work going on until 5pm and again from 8am.

Perfect location with a view

For the center of Ravello the hundred and so steps or the 15min walk by the road could be a problem, but it's worth it. If you arrive by car it's better to call first and ask for the better way to get there. Google Drive sent us to a narrow no way out street.

Breathtaking view!

We arrived early, but the staff was delightful. Our room was ready, we checked in quickly and were shown to our room. It was a gorgeous view overlooking the coastline. Our room was right above the outdoor patio. We felt the property was very secure. Our room was spacious and in great working condition. We loved every minute of our time there. It is right by the city center, but I must admit, it is 200 steps up to the piazza. So, take some water with you, take your time, stop when winded... You'll get there. I think it was worth the view and the very accommodating staff! The breakfast spread was huge - lots of savory and sweet options. Ravello is a cute little tourist town and is worth the visit. We drove from here to Positano as we left.

There is a pool that appears to be part of the property, but it isn't. It costs to use it. But honestly, in October, the pool water temperature was too cold anyway.
