Negatives: Breakfast was okay, not much variety and I didn’t like the fact that the eggs were in the same pot with meats (I am vegetarian). Coffee offered was pretty bad. The shower temperature was faulty, constantly changing from hot to cold. Tried bringing this up with reception who sent a plumber who looked at it for 2 minutes and said he can’t do anything. One night we were served food from room service which was not cooked properly- some of it was almost frozen still. Every time we wanted to leave the hotel in our car we had to wait several minutes for reception to open the gate. Ventilation fan in our room was not working properly. Positives: The room was amazing, from the balcony to the bed to the bathroom, everything was beautiful. The staff was really friendly. Easy parking space. Swimming Pool was lovely.

We were overall very happy with our stay. The location is fairly convenient, the view is amazing, the staff was excellent, the food was good, and we appreciated the free shuttle service to the bus stop and town square. Our major disappointment was our room. When we booked the room, I called to confirm that the terrace pictured was what I had booked and was told it was. However, when we arrived, we found that there is only one room with the very large terrace that has completely unobstructed views and it is on the 7th floor of the building. We were placed in a room on the 5th floor with a garden and terrace; however, the view was somewhat obstructed by a lower terrace that looks like may have been a pool in the past years but has been changed to a patio that guests are not permitted on. There were several other beautiful locations in Ravello, but we chose Villa Piedimonte specifically for the large terracotta tiled terrace with the panoramic view, so we were highly disappointed to be on the lowest floor that did not offer the view we had confirmed.

The staff spoke very little to no English at all. The pillows, blankets, sheets, towels , and floors were extremely dirty and heavily stained. The pipe system were extremely old! I wanted to leave the first night I stayed there. My personal towel was taken by the housekeeper! I never been to a hotel where the housekeeper touches your personal items.

Nice property with a stunning view. They have free and convenient parking. It’s a long walk to the Ravello town square but they offer a free shuttle service to get you there and back. Its stops at 9 pm so you either have to walk or take a taxi back if you have a late dinner. The rooms are nice. Nothing extravagant, but the one we had was quite large. The breakfast buffet was good with a nice variety of food. You can east on a terrace with an amazing view of the coastline. The swimming pool area offers the same amazing view and drinks / snack at reasonable prices. 8 euro for an Aperol spritz with snack 😄

We were in Ravello for a wedding and this was an ideal location. It was a short walk to the town where we could access all of the restaurants, shops and shuttles to nearby areas. The hotel also offered complimentary shuttle service to town if we did not want to walk. We enjoyed the food, service and property. Everyone was friendly and courteous, and the hotel was spotless. The pool and the wonderful view were also what sold us on this hotel when we were looking for a location. We were not disappointed! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Behind gates up high on the side of a hill, with amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea. Our room was enormous with a large veranda, part of it covered in case of rain and planted succulents around its perimeter. Breakfast included a large variety of healthy and delicious choices, and cappuccinos made fresh! Giuseppe chauffered us to town and back upon request each day, and was a delightful knowledge of all things Italian! We slept soundly, the bed so comfortable! The perfect place to stay!

The hotel is in an excellent location for Ravello with stunning views from most rooms and especially the breakfast room. The staff went out of the way to help us and we're exceptionally friendly. The hotel courtesy driver to and from Ravello was a really good facility, especially as it's a bit of a steep hill up into Ravello, but the shuttle service is convenient and accessible on request. All drivers were very friendly as were reception / breakfast staff. Rooms clean and comfortable. We have had a lovely stay, thank you.

It was truly an exceptional hotel. Beautiful scenery, a spotless room, and delicious, healthy breakfast — I would love to visit again. When we mentioned it was our wedding anniversary trip, they kindly upgraded our room. I am deeply grateful to all the hotel staff for their warm and attentive service. We stayed at deluxe suite 701. The huge balcony view is truly breathtaking. The couch in the suite is a sofa bed, so when you sit on the sofa, the cushions kept sliding out. Not comfortable to sit! The front desk or concierge service has lots of room to improve. We asked them to call a taxi to take us to Amalfi center in the morning. If they are experience/ professional, they should have informed us that coming back to Ravello in the afternoon is a headache, so maybe we should book a taxi in advance! That would make our trip much more pleasant！The villa might want to consider to run a charge share shuttle from Amalfi to the Villa for their guests.
