Studio Rempart

The apartment is in a fantastic location — very quiet, yet very central. It is charming and full of character, with lots of little nooks and corners. Everything was clean, and the layout was really interesting — definitely not the usual, boring, standard design. The two terraces were perfect for warm summer evenings. We hope that the beautiful, friendly and affectionate cat who came to visit us, and was waiting for us outside the terrace door the next morning, has wonderful owners. We fell a little bit in love with her. 😍 The main room is well air-conditioned, and we would have loved to stay longer. Unfortunately, this was just a stopover for us.

The staircase to the top floor is extremely narrow and steep, as it is very old, and getting a large suitcase up there was definitely a challenge! 😅

So cozy! Very well put together/designed. The courtyard made for a nice touch. The host gave very detailed instructions and check in/out was very smooth. Also great value. Wish I could have stayed longer! Highly recommend.

I loved everything :)

Location was good and communication with the host prior to the stay was good. TV with internet access was good for teenagers. Bed was comfortable and there was amenities to store and heat up food.

When the taxi dropped us off I was unable to locate the property as it’s pretty well hidden, and the street numbers don’t follow a logical order. A picture of the front of the property would help. Stairs were very steep with a low clearance when trying to get heavy cases up without hitting your head. Lot of noise from occupants walking upstairs and general creakiness of floor boards. Warned about time it took water to heat up but really do need to wait and while and water pressure isn’t great. Did consider using the toaster but it was covered in dust so may want to check up on that cleaner. It would be useful to have two sets of keys as I wanted to pop out when daughters were sleeping but didn’t want to lock them in.
