Good location and nice staff but it could be cleaner.

The staff is very kind and helpful; they let us check in early. The location is perfect, it’s in the city centre, very close to public transport.

It’s not very clean. The bedding had dirt and crumbs on it and the towels were dirty, one of them had red/brown stains. The wifi is slow.

I liked the location of the apartment

I did not like the staircase, it was difficult to walk up and down the stairs especially when carrying luggage. The was nothing mentioned in the information for the apartment with regards to the steep staircase. There was a lot of mosquitos in the apartment, my partner and myself ended up covered covered in insect bites. The tv in the lounge area didn’t work & the curtains wouldn’t close fully.

Great place to experience Brussels.

Our stay at Appartbrussels was great. It was close to the city heart. there was a convenience store across the street. we walked into the city to visit old Brussels and enjoyed the city's food and retail outlets. We walked to the Train station to get to the airport took about 10-15 minutes.

We arrived on a Sunday and felt we were a bit of an inconvenience the hosts. The room was not quiet as it opening out on to a third story balcony over the street. We love this so we were happy to put up with the street noise. There are only stair access to the room which again for us was OK.

A good budget location near the center of Brussels

Location was good, near the center of town and one of the main pedestrian streets, but also near metro and train stops. Bed was comfortable and the balcony was nice. The previous guests had left early so the host texted us letting us know we could check in earlier which was much appreciated because I didn't see anywhere to leave the bags ahead of time.

The apartment is what it is in the photos; it's not the newest and cleanest one out there, but it works. People should be aware that it is on the 3rd floor, so if you have big luggage, be prepared to carry those up a few flights.

Could be cleaner; not for the elderly due to the steep narrow stairs/

The location is close to the grand Plaza, lots of stores and restaurants nearby.

Almost fell from the stairs which would have been disastrous. There are two floors to the apt. with very narrow stairs almost spiral type; which was difficult to climb with a carryon in hand. Dreaded having to climb them up and even more, down. My stay was for 3 nights; 2 people, yet they put only one roll of toilet paper. Had to go buy more. There were no soap or any type of toiletries. They did not provide sheets for the sofa bed; we had to request, and the sink was not flushing. They fixed this quickly. The major turn down was a stain of blood on the bed sheet which they try to disguised, I guess, by putting a pillow on top. Had to sleep on one side of the bed, and the mattress was uneven. Very uncomfortable.

The apartment lighting is bad and feels like a cave, nothing like the pictures. It doesnt feel clean, the sofa is all in stains, the floor is partially broken. Additionally there is no proper air conditioning, so you must keep windows open which is hard at night with lots of noise from the street.

Very close to the city center.

Very noisy (especially at night). 3rd floor without lift. Road repair on the street. On the first night, the lights went out until the morning due to other guests. Very dark. Broken floor. Very hot.

Location. Is the only good thing

Toilets are on the 1st floor, no sink for hand cleaning after and no ventilation. Rats traps are everywhere in the apartment, some windows cannot be closed and on attic where bedrooms are, heat is unbearable since there is no AC . Instead on velux curtains you will find a blanket. Just run....

There was a smell in the bathroom. We don't know if it was coming from the toilet itself or the shower or both. The door wasn't easy to lock from the inside or the outside.

This stay made me promise myself and my family to never choose price over quality and not to trust pictures.

1- Location. 2- Early check in.

1- Customer service. We were asked to put €200 cash as a deposit because we have 2 children with us! The owner said that a family with children just checked out and their children were messy. Of course I refused to pay and said that was not part of the policy on the website. She then said okay but make sure to clean the apartment before you leave, which we always do but we felt it was quite unprofessional and unnecessary to welcome us into the property like that. 2- The pictures here look different. The apartment is run down and needs refurbishing. 3- The stairs are honestly quiet scary and dangerous. One wrong step and you will have a serious fall. Not safe for children at all. My son slipped once and if I wasn’t in front of him and was able to catch him, he would’ve been seriously injured. 4- Again, safety. The windows can be easily opened by a toddler and it wide opens to the street. No safety locks or anything like that and we were in the third floor. 5- Cleanliness. Bring your own sheets!

Good location and place

The location is fantastic…a few minutes from Bruxelles Nord station and walking distance from the main tourist location - Grand Place. The apartment was nice with all amenities for cooking.

The dirt and garbage on the road below. The clatter of people on streets although the apartment is noise proof once the windows and doors are closed. The staircase is very very narrow and spiral, which makes taking luggage up very difficult as there is no lift. The bathroom is tiny.

Overall great stay

The host was lovely and very accommodating. They were so helpful in letting us store our cases all day due to a late flight. Location is near to Grand Place, shopping, bars and restaurants

Great location, mediocre accomodation.

Location was amazing, a few minutes walk from the North Station and right next to the main shopping street. A walk through that street would lead to the historical square. However due to it being so close it was pretty loud outside at night and there were many homeless people, but that's not the accomodations fault.

There wasn't any heating at night so it was very cold in the room, especially as one of the windows wouldn't close properly.

The location is excellent and the apartment is quite alright (spacious and have all the things you need to cook, shower, relax in the living room)

Could be more clean and have more cooking utilities. This has nothing to do with the apartment but the street has a lot of homeless people (but that is an issue all over Bruxelles)

The location is near to a commercial zone so in the late evening is a bit lonely. Please for others booking in the bu8dling there are 5 floors, so please check in which floor (etage) it is located.
