Fantastic place to visit, but the water needs to be checked.

The views were excellent. The owner was very attentive when we first arrived. All very accessible.

The bathroom shower on the first floor of the Duplex stank of stagnant water when running the shower. Even after several uses, the smell still remained and ‘whaffed’ throughout the bottom floor of the duplex. We had to shut the door of the downstairs bedroom to stop the smell and open all the windows in the bedroom. The drinking water also tasted very peculiar, like a stagnant taste again. Everything else was lovely except for this issue which did put a dampener on the holiday.

Disappointing, this could be an amazing apartment with cleaning.

The balcony was a nice feature to the property. Good proximity to the metro station

Smell of cigarettes in the apartment. Areas of the apartment were not clean - stains on sofa, stools, table, mattress. Kitchen utensils not clean, I had to wash everything before using. Large cobwebs and coffee machine had build up in the water tank. A few other things but the final straw for me was waking up in the morning with several bug bites. I left a day early as I could not stay in the apartment any longer and booked alternative accommodation.

A scam

I paid for a duplex apartment with a view, but ended up in a smaller unit with no view. The price difference was never refunded. The landlord even messaged me asking not to talk about the accommodation with anyone, as he wasn’t operating legally. Most communication happened through a third-party platform. Avoid this place if you don’t like unpleasant surprises.

Apartment mix up meant another group were mistakenly in our apartment, had to call owner but phone number from booking.com didn’t work and required owners phone number. A lot of stairs with no lift.

The house was very well furnished with a wonderful layout. Two balconies on opposite sides gives a fresh feel. The neighborhood is very calm and quiet. There is a general store nearby.

Pleasant

The apartment is located in a quiet residential area with supermarkets nearby. The nearest train and bus stops is about 10 mins walk. It is clean, with washing machine and dryer which is convenient for family stay.

1. The kettle is sooooo dirty, unable to drink tea during the stay coz the boiled water was disgusting and I've attached a pic of the kettle. 2. The kitchen is spacious however not well equipped, for example there's no kitchen paper and you need to buy yourself. There's no cloth to wash the dishes and we didn't want to open the dish washer for 2-3 plates. 3. There's washing machine but there's no detergent that we had to buy from the supermarket...There's no small box of detergent available so we bought the big one and left it for the next batch of guests to use. 4. The room was on 3rd floor and you have to carry up 1 more level to reach the living room. I wish this could be highlighted.

Beyond expectation and dog friendly. Amazing stay!

Beautiful location to stay together, dine together and go for beautiful walks in the nearby park. The apartment is very large, with high ceilings and all the necessary things, but also plenty luxury (that wasn’t necessary, but was simply a great bonus). The fact that it was dog friendly was a big plus for us, but for any other couple, I can imagine it being a great place to stay for occasion. Good and effective communication regarding apartment access, WiFi, but at the same time enough privacy as if it’s your own place away from home.

Top weekend at a top location

The accommodation is perfectly located. It’s next to the Parc de Forest and Parc Duden. Great places to walk around and to pick up fresh air. St Gillis it’s briefly located between the center and other areas such as Ixelles and Uccle. St Gillis has an attractive vibe aunt is a wonderfully international environment. The accommodation itself is superb. It is spacious clean and well equipped. It is quiet at night and you’ll definitely get a good night of sleep here. Contact with the owner is easy and he is extremely helpful. No doubt that I will get back to this place.
