Toison d'Or & saunna 2

Really great location within walking distance of Central Brussels and beautiful neighborhoods and shopping (something for everyone). Super close to the metro station, 30 min walk from central train station. Very spacious for 7 people, could have easily fit more.

We were here during a heat wave and there was no AC. We stayed over a weekend and people were loud just outside, with late partying and apartment parties above. The unit doesn’t allow parties - which suited us well travelling with a small baby but don’t count on everyone else around not partying. The Sunday we thought would be more quiet but one of the nearby apartments did loud karaoke till past midnight - so again a challenge keeping windows open. The other big challenge was the crib provided for our infant was broken on one side. We informed the property and they offered to bring another one, which we agreed to. However they did not deliver it until the day before departure (we stayed 4 nights). There was absolutely no communication on when the crib would be delivered or that there would be any delay. As well, on check in they sent the information only 3 hours in advance. This would be okay if it was communicated that it would be sent shortly before arrival, but we had sent numerous messages asking for more information in the days preceding and did not get a response until a few hours before the check in. Overall, we probably would stay here again because the pros outweighed the cons but definitely some challenges as well, especially with crib, noise, and communication.

Geweldig ruim appartement, hoge plafonds en ramen. Grote kamers met goede bedden.

Nog niet helemaal af qua aankleding, schemerlampje en bedlampjes waren er niet. Muren kaal.
