Clean apartment in a great part of Brussels. Be aware of the stairs

We really enjoyed the location. Plenty of fun bars and restaurants nearby but also a good bakery and some small grocery stores. Also galleries, vintage stores and not too far from the centre of Brussels. The apartment has all that you need. Not luxurious but it all works and a bit quirky.

The property has six stories and only stairs. In advance it’s not clear on what floor you will stay. This time we were on the top floor….loads of stairs! Also, it would be nice to have instructions on how to control heating…a bit on the hot side.

Great for a hidden escape in Brussels

It was very hard to find as there was no number on the door of the street a little bit out of the town maybe 10 minutes walk but there are shops nearby and cafés and the room was very clean and modern

Overall, it was a good experience. We were three girls staying there. At first, we had some trouble finding the main entrance, as there was no sign indicating the apartment. However, the host was helpful when we reached out for info. The apartment itself was spacious, clean and warm. It had a small kitchen with basic supplies, which was convenient.

On the downside, there was no hair dryer and slippers. The bathroom window didn’t have a curtain, making it a bit awkward to get in and out of the shower.

Terrible 🤦🏻‍♀️

Unfortunately, due to the owner’s negligence and lack of security, our holiday turned into a nightmare. We literally faced a life-threatening situation. The property owner shared our room access code with someone else, which resulted in a stranger entering our room in the middle of the night. Moreover, the owner was completely unreachable during the incident and did not answer any calls. It was a terrifying experience. We strongly advise everyone not to stay at this place.

Scary and disappointing

There was hair in the both beds. There were stains on the bed when the sheet was pulled back. There was a fly in the fridge. The apartment smelt bad. The window downstairs was broken and open, making it unsafe and allowing anyone to come in and out. The accommodation looked in an unsafe area, which we were unaware before going. Many people kept coming up to us when we tried to find the accommodation which was very intimidating as two female travelers and made us feel very unsafe. We left immediately as we felt our safety needed to be our top priority and the cleanliness for the accommodation was not up to scratch. For the area and the level of cleanliness, it was way over priced. The lock for the door, was coded but we were unsure who had access to the code and there was no extra lock inside to make us feel any safer.

0 safety difficult to have a good sleep

Apartment in general terms is ok, but needs fixing. Bed was comfortable.

Many people have the code, someone tried to enter while i was there, luckily i was behind the door to stop them. Had to sleep wih furnitures behind the door to have a personal alarm system in case someone was trying to get in. Too noisy, the front door is behind the wall that is the bed, and the door every times it closes does a big noise, so you wake up every time someone enters. Kitchen had 8 lamps, 2 were working. Some other small stuff could be better but don't matter. 0 safety, impossible to have a good sleep. Stay sway.

Perfect location for a short break

Good location and price, everything that we needed such as towels, soap, heating and was nice and clean.

There is a strange sewage smell in the bathroom which must come from the drains.

Brussels

The apartment is located in the central part of the city. Everything is close, which is important, shops, bus stop, cafes. There are narrow stairs to get to the apartment, although it is not difficult to go up and down. The apartment is bright, tidy and clean, with comfortable beds and pillows. The view from the windows is also very beautiful, it was nice to look at it every morning. You can watch Netflix, YouTube, or other applications on the TV and have a nice time. The kitchen has everything you need for a few days' stay. The bathroom and toilet work properly. You can feel the cleanliness. We had a little trouble turning on the water heater and it got a little cold and we didn't understand anything at first, but once we asked for help, we soon received detailed instructions, for which we are grateful. Overall, I am satisfied with the accommodation.

One minor inconvenience we had was the loud music/vibrations that didn't stop until 6-7am on Friday and Saturday nights, which prevented us from sleeping and relaxing.

Great flat, HORRIBLE location

The flat itself was very cute, spacious and good value for money. I liked that the doors were on auto locks and the check in was via code. However, the area was absolutely terrible and completely unsafe. There was a group of about 20 men hanging outside the front door of the flat the whole stay, a group that a local shop keeper confirmed were not safe to be around, making noise and destroying the surrounding property on the street during the night Overall, we didn't have any issues as we kept our valubles out of sight but it felt quite scary

I wouldn't choose it again

The apartment is nice and renovated

I didn't like the staff managing the apartment. Staying for three nights, I asked for an extra towel for bathroom (instead of the two provided), and even though I had a guest, they said no, repeatedly and rudely. Water leaking from the bathroom sink. Wi-Fi password not working. The apartment is located in a not very nice area (it felt like being in Africa), and a bit far from the center. The kitchen is poorly equipped; at least a colander is a must for us Italians. The kitchen table is wobbly. Other small things...

The interior was pleasant

No door to the bathroom nor shower. No AC, plus there was a vent near the restroom giving out hot air, so it made the room extra hot. The hotel was very hard to find.

Big apartment best for group of friends travel together

The apartment is bright and clean. You can also have a quite peaceful view. The team also quite supportive when i have trouble with the door key.

Overall very happy with the accommodation, cleanliness, and comfort.

Liked the location in the centre of the cultural area. Stumbled upon the flea markets and enjoyed whilst having a beer.

On a couple of the days there were some renovation works occurring in the building. A bit of noise but not too excessive. Just not expected.

We did not stay in the end.

No power when we arrived. Bed broken when I lay on it - and the answer was instructions on how to fix it. When reporting it did not get the type of response I expect from a host. We left and booked somewhere else.

Clean, comfortable and city easy to reach on foot

It was spacious and clean

The only I would say is that when we arrived late at night we couldn’t see the number of the property to ascertain which one it was as it was extremely faint. Maybe could do with a number placard or something for the next customers.

Easy and comfortable stay.

Was very clean and the beds were very comfortable! Easy to get in and out, very practical with just codes for the doors, and it still felt safe. Nice area with a lot of Vintage and second hand store and the apartment is located right next to the market in Marolles.

In one of the beds the "bed boards" under the madrass fell down several times, it should be checked:)

Good place that suited my purposes for a stay of five days.

Apartment was nice and equipped with essentials for short stay but in rather shabby building. The area near Gare du Midi is interesting(?) with a huge number of launderettes and shops including a great bakery in Rue Blaes.

It was a bit hard to find as the apartment was in a building in a residential area with a poorly written number (no indication of Smart Apart or Easy Stay on building). The streets are often cobbled so rolling a heavy suitcase is noisy. Was disturbed one night by late arriving guests trying to get into the building that had arrived late because of delayed train who phoned me because they couldn't contact anyone using the contact number. On my last night my sleep was badly disturbed by extremely loud music from an all night club nearby. There was problem with the boiler and hot water which was eventually fixed. The staff I dealt with were helpful and responded quickly to messages.

Handy for the midi train station and it’s got several nice vintage shops nearby.

The apartment is above an all night techno club, which stays open until 7am at the weekend and on Monday mornings the bottles are cleared out from 8am so don’t expect to get any sleep then either. And the bottles are stored outside the front door making exiting the property very difficult for anyone with a large case. I passed mine to my husband. Also the property had a bad drain problem, which fills the entire studio apartment, I wish I’d read the reviews more thoroughly as all this has already been stated. Not the best experience but we travel a lot and this is our first bad stay.

Easy system to check-in online and enter the appartment. Open space, very shiny. Very clean all the area of the kitchen, and the shower and toilet (bathroom) area.

Curtains on the windows were damaged and didn’t work. Some “bad smell” from the WC was invading the room. The wardrobes could be in better shape.

Clean space. More or less good location. Quiet place.

The glass ceramic didn't work, we called for assistance and they didn't want to send a technician. I couldn't do my checking at 15:00 because the app didn't work and I had to call for assistance, but they didn't do anything. 1 hour after, all worked well. There was no curtains in the bathroom, we had to have a shower in front of the neighbours.

Good but needs improvement

The apartment itself was very clean, spacious, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The location is very convenient.

The outside of the building looks unpleasant, the entrance and hall was very dirty and full of spider webs. The lack of attention to details disappointed me. The toilet wasn’t working, internet password didn’t work and the tv remote didn’t work as it didn’t have battery.

1. Nice, cozy and clean apartment. 2. Fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, microwave, kettle etc. 3. Located about 300 meters from the Port de Hal subway station. 4. Location not in touristic area. 5. Near the Rue Haute and Rue Blaes shopping streets. Many small restaurants, shops selling vintage clothings and household items. 6. Comfortable beds and pillows.

1. Many buildings in the area are vandalized with graffiti. Looks like a slum. 2. The apartment is on the 4th floor. 3. No elevator and small staircase. Difficult for those with babies or large suitcase. 4. Nearby bar playing loud music until 6 am. But, only during weekend.

It was warm:)

The apartment was quite clean and there was everything you might need (except hairdryer but we didn’t ask for it maybe the host would help us if we ask them:)) Actually when I read the comments I can honesly say that the hosts are consider about comments in a good way. There are towels, comodins, woredrops and kitchen equipments enough. They fulfil all the things in the time and try themself to improve as their guests expectations. I appciate that. It was lovely to stay there. Thanks a lot.

Check-in button becomes avaible exactly on the check in time. It could be hard for guests without internet connection. I had to wait to see the enterence password until 15:00 at a cafe. So maybe to activate check in button 15 mins before check-in would be helpfull for the guests :) The neighbourhood would be feels unsecured but it’s not. Notting happened while are staying but there are immigrants on the neighbourhood that might be scary for some people. For us it wasn’t

Not safe at all.

Apartment is clean and has all the facilities you need

Location is terrible and not safe at all. It is not safe, an intruder unlocked the smart lock of the apartment and we have to secure the door using the furniture in order to be safe. We are not sure how he unlocked the smart lock of the building and the apartment. Not safe at all. Landlord was not supportive and gave us the wrong apartment (smaller than what we booked), contacting him was difficult and he is very rude. After hours of calls he finally gave us the correct apartment.

l’appartamento era grande, riscaldato, con una buona posizione i letti erano grandi e comodi, Internet veloce e camere bene illuminate host disponibile le scale sono molto ripide e strette ma per noi che avevamo solo lo zaino non è stato un problema

Poco rifornito, c’era solo un asciugamano per persona, non c’era shampoo, niente asciugacapelli pulizia orribile, capelli d’appertutto, negli armadietti c’erano i peli, posate, bicchieri non puliti, mancavano i condimenti base, le bustine del the sembravano lì da anni e la macchinetta del caffè era piena di calcare In bagno c’è una finestra gigante ma senza tende, tutto visibile
