Smart Appart - Gare Du Midi

The place looked great, just like in the pictures, good location - close to the railway station

The lack of air conditioning made it quite hard to stay there during the day

Apartment was lovely and clean and fitted our family of 5 easily. Staff were friendly and excellent communicators.

6 flights of stairs with all our luggage was a killer and the neighbourhood itself wasn’t the cleanest

Excellent place to stay. Very clean, well organized, and in a great location with easy access to public transportation. Highly recommended.

I was given a spacious and well renovated appartment conveniently located very close to Gare du Midi. A problem is that you dont know which appartment you will end up with. Mine was the Harry Potter appartment which was in the basement but nicely decorated with many relevant items all over the place.

The apartment was in the basement with a window exactly on street level, which means that you did not have any privacy with the curtain open. The time I visited was June with a heat wave, which made it very difficult not having air-conditioning but only a fan. I also killed more than 15 mosqitoes which were ruthlessly attacking me all night. Sound insulation was also non-existent as it was an old building and when a couple of persons entered their appartment in the middle of the night I could hear and feel their voices and footsteps as if they were in mine.
