Staff , sauna , swimming pool , atmosphere , room with a view , location, breakfast buffet

Massage wasn’t a real massage and for that price truly not worth it ! 2 days of an unpleasant “dung” smell / sanitary area- bathroom .. day of check in, it was almost unbearable.. apparently this problem arises during certain weather conditions.. the hotel reacted very professional though and offered a replacement room, if the problem would not have been solved.

All the positive impressions we had of the hotel were overshadowed by our disappointment with the dinner

The hotel is good, with friendly service, large but rather simple rooms, and a beautiful view. Overall, it offers a pleasant stay and has potential.

Unfortunately, our dinner experience in the restaurant was very disappointing – the food was dry, tasteless, and not freshly prepared, so we had to leave without eating. There is also no bicycle rental, the climb up from the village to the hotel is very steep, and the bar is closed on Sundays.

For a superior room with an apparent lake view then we were disappointed with a side view and bushes obscuring the lake view.

Lovely hotel with the best views!

Great location with stunning scenery and amazing views from the bar, restaurant amd rooms. Cosy room with nice bed amd pillows. Lovely, friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was very good and we had dinner there once which was also tasty and good value for money. A short walk up the hill from the small village with restaurants and gorgeous two hour walk around the lake. Highly recommend a stay here

We had a small double which didnt have a fridge or tea and coffee making facilities which would have been nice. We were there in September so the temperature was perfect but if you are there in the hot summer I didnt spot any air con so maybe something to consider.

Hotel’s positions offers astonishing views over the lake and the surrounding mountains. Quiet area and well organised and clean small town. Wide array of parking options, especially liked the covered roof parking (felt the rental car was safe during storms) Room was clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable to sleep / stay on for long periods of time. Fabulous breakfast with many options to choose from. Access to spa (pool, sauna, relaxation areas) offers great alternatives on rainy days.

Great family trip

The location! 🤩 The hotel is located up the hill in Hopfen am See, a stunning place in the Allgäu region with breathtaking views all around, most of all of Schloss Neuschwanstein which can be seen from a distance. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful at all times, the apartment was spacious and the food was exceptional (organic and locally grown) - fantastic breakfast buffet and a delicious choice of freshly cooked dishes every evening. The pool area is spacious and welcoming and there are free aquagym courses on offer.

If there was one detail that comes to mind: the temperature of the pool was a little low (but then it was an unusually cold/rainy summer anyway)

Lovely hotel in a wonderful rural setting

The hotel is in a rural area that suited us perfectly. Wonderful views from the bar balcony and outside seating areas. It is worth the climb back up the hill after visiting one of the number of restaurants that are on the lake side. The hotel also offers a very nice evening menu. The staff were all very helpful and professional. The buffet breakfast was excellent with enough choice to suit all tastes. Our room was a suite that had a side view overlooking the lake - very spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large, a little dated, but worked well - a great shower. The indoor swimming pool was a good size. It was perfect to explore the area from this hotel - it would be difficult without a car. A very nice stay in a hotel that we would return to.

A mini fridge and a kettle in the room would have been appreciated.

Clean comfortable hotel with dramatic views.

Restaurant was very nice and traditional, car parking arrangements were very good. Room was very spacious with a great view overlooking the lake.

It was a big walk into town for alternative restaurants, bus ride to Neuschwanstein castle was complicated we ended up driving and parking was 10 euros.

Everything was super, the mountain panorama view was just incredible, the staffs very friendly. Breakfast was well served. Will be probably visiting again its worth :)

Summer time Hotel☀️

We loved the breakfast so and the whole team was very kind and helpfull. We liked the pool and the Sauna as well. Everything was clean and good prepared. I wish we had one more day and could spend more time at the panoramabar. I would choose this Hotel in Summer time😊☀️

We missed a pretty small refrigerator from the room or at least a kettle. The Panoramabar was open just till 17:00. That was really sad for us(but it's maybe cause of the Corona). And the pillow was very uncomfortable.😐

Incredible views and location!

Fantastic lake views from the bedroom and balcony! Also very beautiful views from breakfast which was fantastic. Easy walk to Hopfensee and the sauna/ pool facilities were great. The staff were very friendly and accommodated a late check in.

Hard to say as everything was so lovely but I suppose the bedroom itself was very basic and didn’t have the wood panelled walls that I’d expected from the photos. But it was immaculately clean and all you need really.

The hotel is big and can be a little like a labyrinth. I took me some time to find the gym and the bar. The room wasn't too impressive. But it was a good price/quality balance. Just don't expect too much.
