Landhaus Peer

We stayed here late August and it exceeded our expectations by a long way. I’m writing this review whilst sitting on the balcony looking out over Mutters to the mountains on the far side of Innsbruck. You could be in a remote mountain village but are actually just a 25 minute tram ride from the centre of Innsbruck. And there is as supermarket less than a km away! Landhaus Peer is a traditional alpine chalet with views over open fields on one side (the balcony side). You have the top floor of the property which has two large bedrooms, a kitchen and large dining/ sitting room. We were here for 3 nights and the weather was perfect so weren’t inside for much of it but if we were there was plenty of room. Some have said that getting to the tram stop to go into Innsbruck is all uphill but Landhaus Peer is almost equidistant between two stops so you can walk downhill (less than 10 minutes) to catch the tram into town then, on the way back, stay on two extra stops and walk downhill back to the property (5 minutes at most) - my lazy teenage son worked out the logistics of this!! Plus the tram is free with the welcome to Innsbruck pass (which you get if you stay 2 or more nights). If we ever come to Innsbruck again I will definitely check out availability here first! Oh, and they have a kettle!!

Loved the location, very clean and spacious. We will be staying again!
