Gorgeous campground with lovely warm cabins

Fantastic scenic location with really comfortable cabins. We visited in January when it was snowing and the cabin was lovely and warm. Great stop for our family of 4. Wish we’d stayed longer. If travelling from Innsbruck on public transport, the 401 bus to Natter See is a great way to get there.

Location is conveniently located near Innsbruck. The setting of grounds is beautiful, near the Natterer See Lake. The restaurant is very nice. It has a laundry room that is very convenient.

Room was not acceptable specially the view to a very disgusting kind of yard/patio full of garbage, at least in the one that we were assigned. Furniture and bathroom outdated. No staff available to ask for more linens. Too bad that they have such an awful rooms in such a beautiful place.

Fantastic wilderness location with great, clean facilities

The property was an easy 20-25 minute, very scenic 401 bus ride away from Innsbruck main station. The welcome we received was warm, funny and genuine. The location itself is in an ideal wilderness setting, surrounded my mountains. We stayed in a wooden barrel which while having no facilities, was warm and cute and a short walk from the toilet and shower facilities which were spotlessly clean and were great to use. We had dinner in the restaurant by the lake, and the atmosphere was great with attentive staff. This is a great find, easy to get to and fun to be at.

The mattresses on the sleeping area in the wooden barrels had thin mattresses and are not the comfiest, but everything else was great.

Overpriced, misrepresented, terrible.

The location was difficult to find and when found reception staff were ok, however the accommodation was not what I expected and I feel the photos totally misrepresent what I was booking. Had the photos and description been more accurate and truly showing what was being offered, I would not have confirmed my booking but booked elsewhere. It did not provide value for money, I believe it was grossly overpriced for what was provided and I would not recommend this accommodation to anybody.

Nice stay at a camping site with a new experience

We stayed in a wooden cylinder, a newer experience for us, which was clean & tide. Overall camping site including washrooms (set at the main building), restaurants, lake, garden were well maintained. Staff was very kind & helpful, they were even waiting for us from the bus & directed us to the site (by waiving from site :) ) when we drop down. The public transport bus to & from the site / Innsbruck city is only in hourly interval which is the easiest way to reach, where the bus ends at the site. Breakfast was very good.

Something to note: The last bus from city was in between 18:30 & 19:00, so if you miss that, you need to go for alternatives. It was around 7k.m from city, so you need to get a taxi in that case.

Very deceptive photos, would not refund, pictures lie about the actual stay of this place. 1/10 would NOT RECOMMEND!

Nothing unfortunately… the picture were very deceptive and did not show how the property actually was. It was also an absurd price for what we got.

The property made it look like a nice peaceful place on the water to stay and it absolutely was not…. Terrible price for what we actually got, I would highly not recommend staying here unless you have small children maybe..

Moslty good, a fun place to be. The staff were friendly

the lake view was very nice

we were given 2 pods of coffee for 7 days, and told we had to buy more ourselves. Also we were not allowed any fresh towels from only what was originally given. Others in the family said they were left clean towels after only one day in another unit. our umbrella was unstable and broke after being blown into the lake. No more were available. It was quite hot and exposed .

Expensive bed in crowded campsite.

“Barrel” was fun and comfortable.

Essentially European camping. Far too expensive for what it was - just a comfortable bed. Toilet was a hike, should have been one next to our “village” of barrel huts. No garbage can to be found. Laundry facilities expensive and dryer broken. Staff unhelpful. I regret staying here.

No kettle anywhere on the property, and no kitchen facilities. The room was so small, it was not a barrel of laughs, but it was a barrel. Image (AS ABOVE) was what we expected, and not what we got. It was much smaller, and not comfortable.

Great place, but not optimal for barrel stay without campervan

Loved the nature, the atmosphere, and the cleanliness. Those aspects are perfect. The barrel where we stayed also comfortable, warm even when it's really cold.

The facilities were very minimum. Yes plenty of bathroom and toilets, but other than that? Not so much. A bit of mis-expectation but other camping sites I tried at least have microwave or even kettle to warm up the water we drink😭 people living in the barrel (me) were barely surviving🥲

Bit far away from the centre of Innsbruck but they offer a free bus service however the times were limited so we ended up hiring the on-site hire car.

Barrels itself look same as in photos. So inside of it - you'll get what you see. Shower and toilet facilities (that are located in main building of the camping) where fabulous, private and clean. 10mins walk from the camping there is a amazing hiking roads with breath taking views.

Unfortunately we were "catfished" a bit by photos shown in booking.com of "sleeping barrels" We were expecting more privacy in location of barrels. Around the location of barrels there was a fully-on living camping full of people and vehicles. Barrel had a lot of ants in it crawling everywhere around. We stayed in May, at night it was around +10-13C. It was freezing inside of the barrel. Parking becomes complicated if more than 3 barrels are taken. If you are expecting a cute barrel in surrounded by fields or forests in total nature, it is not what you are going to get. Its more of "let's drop these barrels here, it will be fine."

Nice break away from staying at 'hotels' or 'airbnb' during our 3weeks driving/flying trip to EU

On site restaurant is a present surprise. Friendly staffs. Rich menu and good quality food. Very reasonable price. Does not look like a (non-EU) tourist joint.

Not enough hot water to the unit. We had three people. Barely had enough hot water to take a shower for two people.

Amazing stay in a beautiful winter wonderland!

The location was stunning. We stayed in a barrel which was comfortable, surprisingly spacious and very warm (December and snowy!). The facilities were exceptional. Hot, powerful showers, private cubicles and plenty of hairdryers, plug sockets and very well lit mirrors. Laundry area was available. All areas were kept extremely clean. The site was beautiful - good sized pitches for tourers and the accommodation available to hire was excellent. The staff were outstanding. They absolutely made the holiday such a wonderful experience. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were genuinely pleased to take time to speak with their guests. I have recommended the site to all friends and family as it was such a fabulous experience.

amazing experience, excellent location very clean property, almost everything is available in a wood lodge

Breakfast buffet is very, very limited. We paid 13,90 Euro per person for breakfast at the time of booking since there were mixed reviews here but it was absolutely not worth it. We booked panoramic wood lodge. It was not really 'Panoramic' (like it shown in the pictures) but had a little bit of view. Not great but not bad.

Great facilities, but not ideal if hoping for a quiet night

Pods are very cosy. Washing facilities are excellent.

The setup invites people to party between the sleeping pods and hence it wasn't quiet until well after midnight. As the office isn't manned at night, nobody seems to check that 23 - 7am night time rule is observed.
