Excellent quality for price, somewhat outside of Innsbruck, but well suited to explore the city.

I had to be in Innsbruck for work and also stayed the weekend over. Finding hotels in Innsbruck unreasonably expensive this time of year, I booked a room at Alpenblick. Even though in a village outside of the city, it is very well connected (a train/tramride of 20/25 mins every half hour, stopping around the corner (for free with the included welcome card). Located in an absolutely quiet area, making it an excellent spot also for exploring Innsbruck. Host is really friendly, with excellent communication. Single room is on the small side, but has everything to make it convenient, you could even make your own meals if you want.

As Innsbruck was my day-base, I did not need it, but restaurant options in the area of the guesthouse are very limited. Also there is only one small supermarket near that has limited opening hours, so be prepared in case you arrive outside of normal office hours without food. Also, be aware of some stairs to climb. (These points were not negative for me, but I am mentioning them to be informative)

Beautiful uplifting happy stay

Beautiful location. Facilities were great, we used the pool and had takeaway pizza in the garden one evening. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay in Austria. Very homely and comfortable and breakfast was amazing.

Value for money and cosy home

Cosy single room with everything you need, including cooking facilities. The Tram ride to and from innsbruck is beautiful. Breakfast is in a lovely room. I wish I could swim in the pool but it was too cold during the time I was there. There are many accessible hikes in the area.

Traditional Alpine delight and the warmest welcome possible.

This beautiful, traditional style Pension has been run by the same family for 3 generations. From the red geranium planted balconies, the blonde wood furniture and stunning, unique, Art Nouveau hand-crafted wrought iron staircase, there is LOVE invested in every corner of this spotless property and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. We were blown away by the gift of FREE travel passes for the incredibly efficient public transport system. The little red train stop is only 5 mins walk away (although makes no disturbance). Leaving our car safely parked (for free) at the Pension and having the ability to enjoy a visit to a Beer Keller in Innsbruck's Old Quarter, without worry, was so valued. Breakfast was ample and delicious and we were even urged to make up rolls for lunch from what we did not finish! Our welcome could not have been warmer. The alpine view from our room was jaw-droppingly beautiful!

The swimming pool was a little too chilly for us, but the day was exceptionally hot.

A beautiful location up in the foothills surrounding Innsbruck. Very easily accessible by tram from right outside the train station. The tram was how I travelled into Innsbruck each day and was very convenient. The host Rebecca was so lovely and had lots of great advice on things to do. The room was very clean, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. I loved staying at Gasthaus Alpenblick and would definitely stay there again if I get to go back to that part of the world. 😄

The best place you can find if you want to see incredible austrian nature and be close to the Innsbruck city)

Our two nights at this hotel were definitely amazing! We honestly loved everything that was at this place

The main advantage of this place is its location! The house is 80 years old and it is already fully renovated, has everything you need inside for your cozy and comfortable accommodation and located in surrounding of incredible mountains !!! We spent so much time at our balcony enjoying the views to Innsbruck city and local Mutters Village! Room was very clean and we have found everything we needed (kitchen stuff, cosmetics, fresh towels, teapot, hairdryer, etc.). The isolation of the room was also very good which is actually very important for any vacations. Also in 2 minutes of this place you can take a FREE train (starting from 2 nights at the hotel) which goes to the centre of Innsbruck! The hospitality of the owners and breakfasts which were cooked with love we can estimate as Excellent!!!! The owner Rebecca is a very cheerful and extremely friendly person! We enjoyed conversations with her during our breakfasts)))) We DEFINITELY WILL come AGAINE!!! This place should have the best raiting at any real estate/ rental platforms! P.S. the view from the house I loved even more than views in Innsbruck city:)

The host was super friendly and the room was very clean with a great view. It was good located between Innsbruck and the skiarea's.

The shower was a little small and because I am 2 meters tall, I bumpt my head several times to the doorposts.

Amazing apartment in a great location with amazing host to make you feel so welcome.

We stayed with Rebecca and her family for 6 nights and had an amazing time, rooms were perfectly clean, spacious and with amazing views of the mountain range. House is located a few minutes walk from local services, restaurants, grocery stores and café with easy access and parking. Highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Innsbruck and the amazing host Rebecca for making us feel so welcome.

I rented a single room for 3 nights here. All experiences are worth the money. The room was very clean and had all the equipment I needed. Separate toilet for private use nice and clean. The host was very friendly and provided all the information I needed. Only 1 minute walk from the train station and bus station (Mutters tram station, although not close to the center, is very beautiful, every tram down the pass is a relaxing time). Plus, you get a free public transit ticket for your entire stay. More then awesome!

The fridge does not sound very nice. I had to turn it off when I slept :D

My stay in Alpenblick pension was perfect. First, the location: Mutters is a quite, enchanting village easily accessible by tram. The house itself is really beautiful, full of flowers and details at every single corner. My room was cute, well equipped and with views over the mountains: absolutely captivating. The central heating works really well and everything was more than clean. Last but not least, the staff. Rebecca and her mother do everything with all their love and they make you feel like home. Breakfast provided was delicious... If I ever go back to Tyrol, I would definitely stay here again. Unforgettable 💕

First of all the hospitality of Rebecca and Doris worth all the money in the world... Then the breakfast "OH, My God !!!"... The location in Mutters where I could see the entire South Tyrol mountains is 10+...

Location excellent, lovely garden area with pool and friendly hosts.

It was not clear when booking a single room that the toilet was separate from the bedroom, not fully en suite and there was no wash basin in the toilet room which I found not hygienic, had to take some hand gel each time and then go back to my room to wash . Hence marked down.

To repeat, good base to ride with motorbike up and down Tirolo.

We went there for a bachelor party of a friend. The building it's in a strategic for Innsbruck, a lot of activities around the house and good position with a fantastic eyesight. We enjoyed also the swimming pool. Little but good to take an aperitise.

Family run, with pride by a very helpful yet unobtrusive host Rebecca. Generous breakfast . In the countryside but Innsbruck is accessible by nearby local railway. Most suitable for outdoor enthusiasts as the train goes into the mountains which have great trails for hiking and biking.

Only one restaurant,in a local hotel - bars & local restaurant were closed ( May) so plan to dine in Innsbruck and get the train or a taxi back to the guesthouse. Taxi c €18.
