Nice stay in a comfortable and quiet hotel near Innsbruck

It's a nice and clean hotel, looking traditional but providing all the modern comfort, with friendly staff, speaking also english. It is situated in a quiet area, a few km away from Innsbruck. The breakfast was diverse, we liked it. We also had a parking place with no additional fee.

Terrible experience-don't stay here

I didn't like the place at all

--- Terrible Experience – Do Not Stay Here I had informed the hotel in advance that we would be arriving late at night, but I received no response. I tried calling several times, but no one answered the phone. Because of that, I had to change my plans and arrived earlier than expected (before 10:00 PM). When we arrived, one of the staff members was sitting behind the computer, not even looking at us or greeting us until we spoke to him first. The check-in process took a long time, and the staff member’s attitude was very rude and unwelcoming, even though we spoke to him politely. To reach our room, we had to move from one building to another. The room itself was very small and not clean at all. We paid a high price for this night — actually the most expensive night of our stay in the Tyrol region — yet it was the worst experience. In the morning, we went for breakfast. There was no variety of food, and compared to other hotels in Tyrol, it was very disappointing and definitely not worth the price. I tried a piece of cake that looked old, and the taste confirmed it was not fresh at all. When I asked one of the staff if there was any fresh cake, she rudely replied in a loud and mocking tone: “All the cakes are fresh.” That was clearly not true — the cake and other breakfast items tasted old and seemed to have been stored and reused several times. In short: This hotel is overpriced, poorly managed, unclean, and serves old food. I strongly advise you not to stay here — it was the worst hotel experience we had in the Tyrol area.

A good hotel for a short stay just outside Innsbruck.

The breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious.

The toilet lacks a fan for ventilation. The Wi-Fi was very poor and unusable.

Disappointing

If you are looking for a quiet location with mountains, this is it: waking up with birds singing and the smell of rain due to the fog lifting through the forest. Pros: 1. The breakfast is good although you can't seat whenever you want. I would have liked to see the mountains while having breakfast but our table was always the same during our stay and it was quite inside the buffet. Nevertheless they have almost panoramic cristal walls at the buffet so you can have a nice view either way. 2.The staff is really nice: once we checked they explain to us a lot of experiences to do/ places to see, they gave us the schedule for the bus (busstop is right upfront), guidelines and maps + they also have a programm with the turistic office and give you free transport if you stay more than 3 nights. Also they are very friendly: greetings everyday, talkative, and remember the guests (they knew our breakfast rutine by second day and following days our table was set + wrote our roomnr on the list only by seeing us coming to the buffet room)

Cons: 1. The place was not well cleaned + towels were old even threadbare and faded -Thank god we always travel with backups just in case. 2. Walls were a bit thin, so you would hear other guest and the heating was not working. We were cold yet the staff said it was on, it was not. Heaters were not even warm and temperatures were between -1ºC and 11ºC during the week, plus windy and you are on a valley between mountains so the sensation is lower. 3. Beds are not comfy and pillows are a pain... 4. Bags & purses are not allowed in the buffet room (god forbid you take a minicroissant with you 🙄) so you need to go back to your room before taking the bus. No possibility of lockers nor space to leave your things in the lobby. 5. Gel & shampoo, tissues and toilet paper are also in containers so is pretty uncomfortable to use. FYI - BUS: If you go by public transport take into account that there is only one line available and it mostly go by the hour. To sum up, this stay was a last minute decision and it was cheap but I do not recommend if you have other option available.

The location was a bit far out of the city centre for us. We relied on the bus service which conveniently stops outside the hotel, however we needed to be well planned as it runs hourly.

Dissaster!

Unfortunately nothing

Many things, but most importantly very negative attitude of the owners/employees. Check out was at 16:00 but we have arrived about an hour earlier and they wouldnt even open the reception door even those we ring and saw employees inside. We try to ask just to use toilet before 16:00 at reception desk but they didn’t allow and didnt even open the door and once employee came out told us to use toilets in restaurant 2,5 km away. Most disappointed experience ever in any hotel.

Spacious room, nice view on hills both from windows as from restaurant tarrace. Differentiated breakfast.

Inaccurate information about restaurant. We asked in the reception about possibility to eat somethig and was said that only drinks are served and closesd place where we can eat is somę kilometers out off there. Finally it turned out that estaurant serves something like 2 "meals of the day".

A nice place to stay while traveling. They offer a small menu for people staying in the hotel. There is not much choice but the food is good. Room was nice and clean. Lots of parking space.
