Outstanding.

Our stay at Hotel Sonnenhof apartment was perfect!The apartment is spotless clean, well-equipped, has a balcony with beautiful view to the breathtaking Apls mountains, and great location in a quiet area yet still close to Innsbruck city center by bus. Above all, the host was really kind and very responsive! This made our visit to Innsbruck remarkable. Would definitely recommend our friends to stay here!

Cosy and welcoming hotel

Really cosy hotel in a perfect location to explore Innsbruck and the mountains. The staff were very friendly and really happy to give recommendations and advice about attractions and travel. The room was clean and warm and the breakfast was delicious. Could not ask for a better experience.

Fantastic place to stay whilst visiting Innsbruck - only a short bus ride into the centre of town

Couldn't fault this hotel, it was very quaint, clean and comfortable, with great views from the balcony. The man on reception was helpful and even lent me the use of a bottle opener during my stay. The room was clean and tidy and the balcony was fantastic, with views of the wooded mountain, which was ideal for sitting in the sun in the afternoon. The bus stop was literally 5 minutes walk from the hotel and the J bus into Innsbruck was very frequent and reliable (you just have to purchase a ticket from the machine at the bus stop). Innsbruck itself is a lovely place that is very picturesque with the backdrop of the snowy mountains.

Nothing really to fault at this hotel, but the shower wasn't the best as the shower head was difficult to set in the right direction. There were some noisy neighbours, down below on the ground floor, but they were just speaking and laughing loudly during the afternoon, which did slightly spoil my hour chilling on the balcony in the sun with a glass of wine.

Simply fantastic

I loved this town and the hotel! Thomas was an incredible host and helped me plan my days, whether adventuring (mountain biking, via ferrata, etc.) or relaxing (Lanser See). I fully intend to return someday and coming from Colorado (USA) that is saying a lot!

Beautiful location, amazing view from balcony, the apartment had everything you need and you still can get breakfast that was very good and awesome selection . Bed was very comfortable . Bus stop in front of Rathaus only 5 min walk to get to down town Innsbruck.Staff was super friendly and helpful. They also gave a welcome card so we could use transportation bus… for free.

The views were amazing and the free parking was awesome.

No A/C in unit was a bit of a drag, lucky there were not much for bugs and we left door open all night but would suggest screens for door and windows if there will be no A/C.

Cozy atmosphere in and around the hotel. Traditional style but still a modern, fresh feeling. Friendly service. Hotel is a short walk from the bus - frequent and fast connections to the city, even late in the evenings.

Wonderful!

What a wonderful place to stay! Location was well off the main road, so nice and quiet, but an easy walk to the bus to Innsbruck. The room was pleasantly furnished with a spacious balcony and gorgeous farmland and Mountain View’s. The host was very pleasant and helpful. I just wish I could have stayed longer!

Comfortable apartment in genuine village near skiing

Good size apartment in characterful building with excellent views of the mountains on two sides. Good wifi, kitchenette. Located close to bus route between central Innsbruck and ski-lift. Igls is a pretty village, not geared for mass-tourism therefore limited facilities. Good walking routes for non-skiers, and Innsbruck is 10 mins by bus/tram. Apartment is off the main road, so very quiet and relaxing. Owner very welcoming and accommodating.

Good enough for a night, if you don't mind pooping with door open

Access to the room was easy and direct. View from the window was beautiful considering it had snowed and the neighbour's roofs were all white as well.

The door to the WC did not close completely and left a big gap between the door and the frame, obliterating any possibility for privacy. In addition, the toilet next to reception was closed during the night. There was no matt next to the balcony window, which meant that if you walk outise on the snow, the room would fill with water as well. The central heating offered no means to adjust the room's temperature, which meant that it was heating full during the night and it did not run during the morning.

Dog friendly, basic, but very clean and nice hotel. Friendly staff, spacious room with a nice view. Good choice for its price. Perfect for a short stay.
