Really beautiful property, old and charming but you feel the age. Could benefit from a renovation

Hours for restaurant and food options not communicated well or advertised conveniently, neither are bus routes. Staff took our extra blankets and pillows away after one night without response as to why.

A great place for stopover in Innsbruck

Great old fashioned hotel outside of Innsbruck in the countryside. Handy for buses into town bus station every hour, with free Innsbruck card for customers staying 3 nights or more. Beautiful views from room with shared balcony outside. Comfortable bed. Lovely food in restaurant, and plenty of choices at breakfast. Staff were very friendly and spoke good English.

Very bad experience for the price of the room

I liked the location and stuff was nice

We stayed at the hotel from August 15-21, and we did not like their check in time frame (till 10pm) I did not like the hotel furniture either. They did not paint the hotel for years and furniture was very old and uncomfortable. The floor carpet is very old. We paid for Mountain View room but they locked the balcony door for whatever reason. So, my question is why did they charge extra for Mountain View room when they can’t let us use the balcony. We had breakfast included, but same boring menu every single day we stayed there for 6 days. We would’ve rated Austria 9 out of 10 but because of the hotel we can’t say we had a great time in Austria it was that upsetting. We go on a vacation for fun when you get an old room with old furniture to stay it’s just sad. $1118 was the cost for 6 nights without tax so with tax it was more costly.

We liked everything. Maybe an electric water kettle in the room would have been great. Just for convenience. It is not necessary though. And this does not have any negative impression about the hotel, facilities, and our experience.

Lovely views, just far enough out of Innsbruck to be peaceful

Amazing chef who could not do enough for us. Food was delicious, staff friendly and bed comfortable. Lovely views and hotel had a lot of character

Our first room had bed bugs. Not a reflection on their cleanliness just unfortunate and they moved us instantly and washed our cloths for us. Perfect service. Also the bathroom is a little small (one of those pre-made caravan ones) which detracts from the rustic charm a bit.

Old hunting lodge turned hotel facilitates ideal European vacation

Ample room and comfy beds, with a great staff and breakfast. We arrived late, and they facilitated a late check in. Woke up to the best view on earth.

Location wise it’s perfect, on top of a mountain and overlooks the alps, restating is good! Staff were friendly. Also offered us welcome plus card which offers free public transport within the city and the bus stop is right outside the hotel.

We arrived a lot later than expected due to a traffic accident on the highway, but the staff checked us in online and let us in way passed midnight which we appreciated a lot. The room had adjacent terrace with a beautiful view.

well situated, excellently located close to the main road between Innsbruck and brenner excellent king size bed, good breakfast

the room was spacey, yet very badly iluminated. it lacked light spots, in general it was very difficult to read a book even at daytime. window was small. Bathroom was completely outdated: it lacked fresh air, and hence had a bad smell. it was not possible to shower standing, due to a low roof. Bathroom light worked on a sensor, could not be turned on or off manually, hence at night there was too much light. Due to glass panel above the door, it kept on shining considerable time after leaving the bathroom and well into bed

View from hotel location was good. Staffs are good.

The room we got unfortunately had no view. We booked this hotel for view but we got road facing view which was not worth it. And second menu in restaurant was very limited . We had to go to city for food. Breakfast was not dat nice. Bathroom did not ventilator. Hot water was not coming in the night time. No lift in hotel.

We really enjoyed staying here. The location was wonderful, the food was excellent and the owners and all the staff were absolutely terrific. we would definitely return.
